Wish I could help the team in every match but today I can't. So i will be one more of you cheering for our lads! #gocity back soon
Yeah I remember now, I'm sure Jovetic had food poisoning though as well
Probably sneezed too hard and his nose disintegrated

With the stick he has been getting from the media I think it's England he does not like. The narrative seems to be on making Ozil this monumental flop.

Probably true. Whilst Ozil has been pretty poor for a while now, our media is one of the most cowardly and snide around ...except when it involves Jose

Considering how most arsenal fans consider him to be the best number 10 on the planet, its not far fetched to say he has been a massive failure.
Expectations etc.
I consider him to be the best 10 on the planet too and I have no love for Arsenal at all.

To call a player a massive failure in his first year in the Premiership is always far fetched. This is before we taken into account Ozil missing the preseason and Arsenal having their runners injured.

Arsenal have a great chance of winning a cup for the first time in 9 years, making top four and got out of the toughest group in the CL.

The criticism for Ozil is way, way over the top. I don't see Negredo who has had similar season trajectory getting anywhere near the abuse or Mata at United. The press seem determined to drive one of the greatest talents in football out of the Premiership.

For club record transfer fee (that too for a frugal club like Arsenal), you would expect a bit more than a player who relies so heavily on runners.
Media always works on hyperbole. His performances this seasons are a disappointment for the "best no 10 in the world". Negredo was not our record purchase and Mata is still very new at the rags.
Arsenal will finish top four (just like previous so many seasons), were knocked out of last 16 in CL (just like previous so many seasons). FA cup is still not in the bag.

That was at the start of the season, right before he dislocated his eyebrows.

Arsenal getting poorly timed injuries, both Wilshere and Ozil out for their most important part of the season.

Well that's what Ozil is and there is nobody better at playing runners through. He is not in the class of Zidane or Ronaldinho, but he is still a fantastic player and well worth his fee. He has not been the reason that Arsenal have struggled in the top games and has actually won a lot of points for them. He has been pivotal in their FA cup success.

Of course the FA cup is not won, but they have a good chance and that would be the first trophy in 9 years. Yes they got out of the Cl group, but Arsenal have constantly been lucky with easy groups; this was the first time they got a hard group in a while and it was an achievement to make it out. The same with the league in the end they may come fourth, but they actually managed to challenge for the title this time and led for a while.

Arsenal put in a good defensive performance especially in the first half but just weren't ruthless and dynamic enough In the final third. At the end of the day we were without Wilshere, Ramsey, Gibbs, Monreal, Walcott, Diaby, Scezesney and Sanogo against what many think are the best team in the world and still came away with a draw. What would have happened last night if man city were without Nasri, Aguero, kolorav, Clichy, Navas, fernandinho, Hart and Dzeko?
This is why it baffles me when people talk about Chelsea and city having a bigger squad than us.

And with Ramsey still missing after 3 months, a huge probably fatal blow to any lingering title aspirations.

When did Sanogo, Diaby and Monreal become key players for Arsenal?
