You know things said on here, are sometimes "tongue in cheek". Don't take everything so serious.

It's hard to judge when things are "tongue in cheek" across the internet. Sometimes you think some people are joking, but you realise they are being dead serious.

You just seem to take everything far too serious.

Probably do, but in my defence watching Pulis' Palace can drain the sense of humour from the best of them.

And there exactly is my point about "tongue in cheek" comments being lost on the internet. Palace football has been dire for years, apart from a brief period last year. Everyone knows he is doing a fantastic job especially with the funds he has. Hopefully it will be enough, but it's going to be close.

the biggest thing though will be that first trophy and getting the monkey off our back. its so tiring hearing the same old '8 years since' and '9 years since' etc etc.

Try "35 years since" like we had before the 2011 FA Cup!

Now the BBC has said "Arsenal were knocked out of the Champions League after a BRAVE draw"................... Fair enough but they were also 2-0 down when they went into the match.

So, if tomorrow we also draw 1-1 can anyone guess what the report will state?? Not that I am cynical or believing in an agenda but ........................







However, I am sure that we will win 0-3 or even 1-3 because I am an optimist. :-)

Ozil doesn't look like he wants to be at Arsenal

With the stick he has been getting from the media I think it's England he does not like. The narrative seems to be on making Ozil this monumental flop.

Pressure will be immense on Wenger now. By rights they should have the FA cup stitched up. If they finish with only their 4th place trophy im not sure the Tarquins will accept Arsene being offered another contract extension.

Regardless of outcome Wenger will be offered and will sign at least a 3 year extension. Of course Wenger will face pressure but his job is safe.

By the way any fellow Gooner stupid enough to call the odds assuming the FA Cup is a slam dunk should button up.

As an old veteran of many campaigns, I have seen us lose too many semis and finals to take anything for granted which is why we love this game so much.

Not just Birmingham, but Swindon, Ipswich and West Ham have left their scars over the years. I mean, fucking Trevor Brooking with a header for heavens sake?!

I remember that. I think it was the only time he headed the ball in his entire career too...

Probably true. Whilst Ozil has been pretty poor for a while now, our media is one of the most cowardly and snide around ...except when it involves Jose

16 successive years in the Champions League and not only has Wenger failed to win it, apparently he doesn't know the eligibility rules either.

Wonder if Sky will hurl as much mud at him as they did at Pellegrini after the Bayern Munich game!!
