I don't get why anyone is calling him 'soft'. He took a hard tackle fractured his foot and then played on past half time. The same goes for Walcott, when he did his cruciate. These Arsenal players are actually pretty hard.

Not sure Arsenal will miss him that much though. He has not been great for a while and probably deserved some time on the bench. If Ramsey is back soon then it will stop Wenger doing stupid things to fit everyone in like playing Ramsey or Wilshere out wide.

I know you have form on here, but this is ridiculous even by your standards.
Sorry you are right. There is nothing particularly tough about fracturing your foot and then playing on for an extra 30 minutes in a friendly. Nor is it particular tough to do you ACL and still have the presence of mind to mock Tottenham fans.

Anyway saw most of the Arsenal game today and they were good especially Ozil. It's crazy the amount of criticism he has been given in his first season, but it's lazy journalism and makes a good headline. Still don't think Wenger has the balance right, but if he wins the FA Cup and gets top 4 then he would have had a brilliant season.

Ozil is gifted, but he strikes me as one of those players whose very good when his team is on top but goes missing when the team is struggling

I didn't think Arsenal were that good today. That Barry penalty turned the game. And Giroud improved them a lot.

If we beat Wigan, I wouldn't want to play Arsenal as they have a lot of match-winners which is what you need in big games, and they will be very determined. Great result for Arsenal. Will lift them and keep their season going.

Strange couple of results with Arsenal and Chelsea recording big wins, yet Everton and Spurs were well in those games.

That's exactly the type of player Ozil is, but his quality still means he is worth it. He is still only 25.

I agree with you on this game; it really was on a knife's edge. If Barry had not given away a silly penalty and Barkley had scored (he had a great game too) then things would be very different.

Hmmmmm I have a feeling we would beat the gooners in a semi, but lose if we played them in a final.

If it's typical City, we'll get knocked out tomorrow saving us the bother anyway!

I thought Everton were the better side until the penalty.

Berkeley is some player.

Barkley should be on that plane to Brazil ahead of others like Townsend, Sterling, Oxlade, Wilshire.

Oxlade chamberlain was brilliant again. Didnt start against stoke and we looked toothless. As for the game yesterday, I have seen everton completely dominate chelsea and spurs in recent weeks and just lose. It was pretty convincing in the end , we had a lot more chances than them but they do break as good as anyone so a very good win in the end. Finally back at wembley, hopefully Charlton win and we get them next round :).

What a chance now, to win the cup..... Wigan in the semi, they havent lost a cup game in years. But from here on in, we really should win this thing. I think today was wigans cup final, but we need to be careful and start well, not too casual like city today, they gave that game away. Could have scored 6 in the end, but paid for their early complacency. If we blow this from here on in, then serious questions need to be asked.

we have just given Arsenal the platform to win a cup. Practically handed them the advantage. Anyone who thinks they won't win is in denial. They will out pass and outclass this wigan team and come Hull City.

We f**ked up
