We both play at the same time on the final day of the season and if we're equal on points it's entirely down to goal difference. At that point neither Arsenal, nor City know what score will confirm 2nd place, and neither can influence the outcome of the other game.
I wonder if Aguero et al got the nod about what they needed back in 2012. Those bloody tranny radios, hopefully there'll be better technology in the future to keep us informed.
Obviously, the massive goal difference in our favour isn't really going to be undone, but theoretically, no matter what the score is at one game, the other game COULD end up scoring 11 more.
It's only truly in one team's hands if no other team can do ANYTHING to finish higher, and as it stands, neither Arsenal nor City can say that.
I'm being pedantic of course.
