That’s nonsense. We are absolutely delighted whenever we beat Spurs especially when we put in such a dominating performance. No Arsenal fan believes we will make top 4 - that seems to be already cemented in (though as I’ve stated elsewhere, if Man Yoo continue to perform as though the whole is less than the sum of their parts, top 4 could elude them).Funny how their fans are having an orgy over a result against a team that conceded 3 goals in their last 3 consecutive games. They already think they can challenge for top 4 lol , still a mid table bunch
What is encouraging is the potential for the future. 8 players who started for us Sunday were aged 23 or less. Great energy and technical ability but lacking in experience and tactical nous. I do think we have a shot at top 6, though.

Not sure you have a shot at top 6 by what you showed so far. Surely the preformance against tottenham was quality but besides that preformance youve struggled throught all the games so far. Crystal Palace and Brighton have shown more convincing preformances so far , in my opinion. Palace has had more difficult games than you had. You got 6 points from Norwhich and Burnley (worst teams in the PL so far) . Dont think Arteta is a top 6 manager to get you there.That’s nonsense. Fucking hell yeah what a side they had then, weren’t they 4 or 5 up after about 20mins ? That was the only team I’ve ever seen who could compare to the Liverpool team of the late 80sI remember being at Maine Road, when they put four or five past us.
They weren’t very boring that day; they were fucking brilliant, in fact.

2 ways of looking at it, the fact we've only done well against Burnley, Norwich & Spurs, or the fact our performances have improved as we got our main players back.
I think we have a shot at top 6 to be honest. If you look at last season we only got 14 points up to Xmas and ended up with 61 points. I think we could hope for an improvement on that, so 65-70 points could get top 6.
The main rivals for top 6 are probably Leicester, Spurs, Villa, West Ham, Everton? I don't see any of them putting runs together to put us out the running just now.
