It isn't what they need on the pitch I agree. However Arsenal will be looking at the money the signing brings in from potential sponsorship deals and branding.

They only seem bothered about reaching business targets over sporting ones. It could finally bite them on the arse this season.

The papers are full of stories like Arteta being the new Wenger and how finally the football team has turned a corner.

Just like the rags it's boom and bust it wont be long before Arteta out is trending again and the Arsenal Fam Club want his head on a platter with their saveloy and chips.

Honestly the beat Norwich ( relegation fodder ) Burnley ( in for a struggle this season ) Spurs ( a complete shambles ) and now it’s the dawn of a new era
 
Funny how their fans are having an orgy over a result against a team that conceded 3 goals in their last 3 consecutive games. They already think they can challenge for top 4 lol , still a mid table bunch
