2 ways of looking at it, the fact we've only done well against Burnley, Norwich & Spurs, or the fact our performances have improved as we got our main players back.

I think we have a shot at top 6 to be honest. If you look at last season we only got 14 points up to Xmas and ended up with 61 points. I think we could hope for an improvement on that, so 65-70 points could get top 6.

The main rivals for top 6 are probably Leicester, Spurs, Villa, West Ham, Everton? I don't see any of them putting runs together to put us out the running just now.

thats basically the point, i dont know how much you improved, we will have to wait for more games and see. Beating Tottenham 3-1 might sound impressive but when you look at their previous 2 games 0-3 vs chelsea at home and 0-3 vs Palace away , what you did suddenly doesnt look as impressive. Question is how much was it you being good and how much it was Tottenham being bad. Even so I think Tottenham had a penalty at Kane and also Kane missed a clear opportunity. If he wouldve scored thoes it wouldve been 3-3.
We will have to wait for more games then we can tell for sure where you stand.

Yeah, fair point. Brighton away at the weekend so another good indicator I think. You can imagine the top 4 is pretty much nailed on but think you might need 10 games or so before you can see how the Europa League chasing teams are shaping up. Even then things might be that tight that things change quick.

dont think top 4 is nailed on depending on United, they have a valuable squad but average defence , mid table midfield and a garbage coach. An organised team with a less valuable squad could still snatch the 4th spot

Just shouting out loud. I don’t like them. Disappointed they equalised tonight, because I really do dislike everything about that club. From the way they conveniently forget they bribed their way into the top division in the twenties and then spunked a load of money to get the success to the fact that they are the ring leaders in attacking us to the faux pious sanctimony of Wenger to the fact that the last few bosses I’ve had have all supported ‘the Arsenal’ and all of them are a certain type of tosser, early 40s to mid 50s, ex public school boys, no idea about football until they thought it best to choose a team. Wankers.

Ever since Wenger left it's been a downward spiral ..dropped out of top 4 as with him they were constantly in the CL groups, played Europa League for a while now they can't even get into that.. soon enough they'll struggle to survive in the PL.
