1. Leicester are not shite…Man U are…compare and come back to me
2. I think Jesus and Zinchenko are likely more happy at getting game time.
3. You’ll likely win the league again, why does it seem to pain you so much that 2 ex City players have started the season so well?
4. I’m allowed to be positive after a good start…we can’t match you yet but we might make top 4…who knows? Yes, let’s re-engage after our match away to Man U
5. Don’t be bitter
I think both are doing great and was sad to see them go. I also think the same about Arteta. I think he was properly tested last season made some tough decisions and has been vindicated. I love pep, but it is very much a case of players moulding to his ideas and not the other way round, and I think Arteta knew both Zin and Jesus had more to offer

You got two players who will always give 100%, unfortunately we could not guarantee them a starting place. I hope they do well for you as they are genuinely nice people. Leicester, whilst better than the rags, are not that great especially in defence and losing Kasper has made them worse.

All the best for the season.

I do wonder watching Jesus whether Pep does stifle players to a degree in that he doesn’t want the ball been lost and therefore taking on a s much is frowned upon. Grealish seems to be suffering from this, it’s like he will be bollocked if he tries something and loses the ball. It’s not a critiscm of Pep as invariably we win but flare players seem be afforded less freedom to do their thing.

I was at the game today (bloody hell, it was hot) and Jesus was absolutely fantastic, I hadn’t realised what a physical player he is. He scored 2 and assisted for the other 2 goals.

But I tell you what, Zinchenko was a revelation, unbelievably good …such vision, such technique..he was my man of the match after Jesus.

Thanks Pep
Zinchenko is a brilliant footballer. I think it was Kyle Walker that said Zin was in our top three most technically gifted players. Hardly ever had a bad game for City, but when he did the daggers came out claiming he wasn’t good enough.

Does amaze me that it takes our players leaving City, for non-City fans to realise how good they are

I feel like I'm constantly being told how good both Jesus and Zinchenko are, as if I should be surprised

Both top players, who are incredibly professional. I hope they have great seasons, and will both be given a great reception when they play at the Etihad

They are both excellent players and you did well to get them. Zinchenco is great at retaining the ball and technically very good but he does have defensive flaws and these will probably emerge against the better teams. His attitude and workrate is fantastic though and he brings a lot to the dressing room.
I loved Jesus at City and think we should have kept him. He does miss a lot of chances but he is one of the hardest-working forwards I have ever seen. He scores some fantastic goals and is entertaining. He understands Arteta's system and will get better. I don't think he is as good as Haaland but he would walk into most top teams.

Remember that you were playing a really shite Leicester team - who still managed to score two goals - and that Jesus and Zinchenko want to impress their new employers.
Post again in September and we’ll discuss.

Odd thing to say, as they are both more than good enough for us and are wonderful wholehearted players.
