Do you think this obsession with Arsenal‘s (admittedly questionable) past is now relevant? More recently Chelsea (before FFP) bought glory. Why not attack them?

It may have something to do with the fact that the letter that was written asking for City to be banned from competitions by the 9 clubs Pep mentioned was written on Arsenal headed paper and led by Arsenal....might possibly be that

Wow, that is the same season when I started attending City matches with my Dad, there were always 25,000 plus crowds at Maine Road even though we were in the Second Division at the time.
That's another shameful statistic that has been conveniently forgotten about/ airbrushed from the record books.
