Thats right. Man City invented a brand of football that has been taught at Barcelona for decades. Although as good as the football is at City, still falls well short of what Barcelona offered up when they were at thier peak.

Arteta also spent more time with Wenger and at Arsenal. Seems anyone good whoever spent anytime at City no matter how short, gets claimed as a Citizen.

You guys still consider Patrick Vieira one of your own, dont you?
Just knock the e off your username there's a good chap, it'll explain your ramblings.

Still makes me laugh that clip. Arsenal massif giving it the old "owd me back", I think it's the only time I've ever seen a crowd surge towards the pitch yet end up even further back.

"Hey lads, the caf's just run out of smashed avocado on toast!"

Not even had a good half season mate and your trying to convince us arsenal are resilient and the real deal!
Arteta only got the job because he heard pep do a team talk
And as for being well short of Barca that’s fine, because Barca shit all over you in a champions league final before they were even that good!!!!
And it was that easy that your best ever player left you to join them
Your form will drop, your arses will fall out and your revert to type
Make sure your back here in may matey!!!!

Is Wenger that Pillock who wants to play the World Cup every 2 years and been a mouthpiece for the Qatari’s, senile old fool.

Arteta and vieria will have learned a lot more at City about being a manager than they will have done during their time at arsenal.

You can tell when opposition teams are doing well without ever watching a game just by looking at the general football section on here, nowhere to be seen when the wheels fall off.

Tough break for Gabby. Rumours that he may be out for up to three months.
That is sad news. Feel gutted for the lad even though it throws a massive stick in the spokes of Arsenal's league challenge. Will be interesting to see whether they get anyone in to cover for him.

Didn't Gabby have a problem with his knee when he was with us?

Gutted for the lad if it's true, Arsenal haven't missed him that much in the sense that his goals have dried up but his presence up front will be sorely missed.

What's wrong bud, did they run out of lattes at the local?

Seems you have been drinking your own piss instead.

You are going to miss Jesus so much.

Hes the one that starts the press and links midfield to attack, he's vital to your system. His workrate and technical ability as well as link up is probably up there with the best players in the world. He doesn't fit Brazils system and that's why he doesn't start for Brazil, they play with a poacher which Richarlison is brilliant at.

But for Arsenal hes in a perfect system that plays to his strengths there's a reason your manager wanted him so badly in the summer. Im not underestimating you but losing a vital cog to a system is going to take some time to get used to. Jesus is key to your pressing and putting pressure on the opposition

You don't need to convince me of Jesus's quality. Looking on the bright side of life, I'm intrigued to see what Eddie Nketieh can do. The whole of Arsenal mania seem to want to crap on him. But he's a young player who really hasn't had many chances but his goals per minutes are really good despite not having any consistency. His movement off the ball and his instinctive finishing is really good. He presses well and physically seemed to develop over the summer. I'd say he's the polar opposite of Jesus, in that his overall dribbling and link up isn't great but his movement and instincts are. I think Jesus doesn't score too many largely because he defends too deep and comes too deep to start attacks. It means he doesn't get into spaces in the box often enough. That's partly what the manager wants though to control possession.

Nearly all Arsenal fans favoured City in the title race before this injury. The real question going forward is if Arsenal can maintain the pressing, chance creation and possession football without Jesus. That question remains to be unanswered
