I agree. I posted some time ago that Arteta’s team is much more resilient than what went before. I expect Arsenal to stay the course, with their championship hopes dashed only by losing to us!

We can't use the argument when Jesus stops scoring that he brings so much more to the attack than goals (which is true), and then say we won't miss him when he's injured.

He'll be a massive loss if he's out for 3 months, there's no point in denying otherwise.

You seem to have come in here and went on the defensive straight away when no one has went on the offensive?

Lol so you’re saying Arteta’s style is closer to Wenger than Pep? And where did I compare us to Barca? Though Pep is the constant in both so thanks for proving my point. Enjoy Arteta, Zinch and Jesus, who have transfomed you into title contenders because of their time with us. Just as we enjoyed Adebayor and Nasri., especially that goal that sent you lot fucking mental.
 
Big loss for Arsenal, if true.

I've always felt that Gabby has been unlucky with injuries though. He's never had anything too serious but generally gets a few small ones each season.

Jesus has never been a prolific scorer. What he does bring and you will miss greatly is that he leads the pressing from the front. Causes panic in the opposition defence and others usually benefit from this.

You are going to miss Jesus so much.

Hes the one that starts the press and links midfield to attack, he's vital to your system. His workrate and technical ability as well as link up is probably up there with the best players in the world. He doesn't fit Brazils system and that's why he doesn't start for Brazil, they play with a poacher which Richarlison is brilliant at.

But for Arsenal hes in a perfect system that plays to his strengths there's a reason your manager wanted him so badly in the summer. Im not underestimating you but losing a vital cog to a system is going to take some time to get used to. Jesus is key to your pressing and putting pressure on the opposition
 
It's funny, but I clearly remember people saying that Pep's style of football 'would not work in England'.

Now, parse that as you like, but it strongly suggests that Pep's style was an innovation on this island and therefore that City were the first to deploy it in England/the UK.

It's also pretty obvious that others have since sought to copy the style. Fair-dos. There are no patents as to styles of football. I think we can all agree that kick-and-rush is on the way out. Even though some teams are still that way inclined.

I probably shouldn't respond to weirdly bitter and aggro posts like this from opposition fans, but I absolutely consider Vieira a blue. He had such a vital role for the dressing room when we were first starting to challenge for things, and I'm thankful we've been able to provide a launching pad for him for what I hope is a long and fruitful managerial and coaching career. Both him and City have nothing but good things to say about each other, he'd get a warm welcome whenever he returns, and as far as I'm concerned the quality he brings to the league as a manager is a quality that has at least one root in Manchester.

If I was an Arsenal fan, I would be very concerned about this injury to Jesus. He is integral to the way they play and would be a big miss in terms of their tempo, press and intensity. Nketiah is not good enough imo.

No, Wenger never lied and talked to Arsenal in the early hours of the morning at his house after telling Pep and Txiki he wasn’t leaving City.

At least Wenger was open with being a prick about City. Arteta wasn’t brave enough to be open about it and did it behind Pep and Txiki’s backs.
