There needs to be a petition signed by fans of every PL club to demand retrospective action against Martinelli for that disgusting ‘challenge’ on Bednarek last night.

Absolutely scandalous Hooper didn’t even book Martinelli even though it was worthy of a straight red card.

Challenges like that have to be severely punished or someone is going to be seriously injured soon.
And no replay until well after the incident, and deffo no discussion about it apart from Neville saying how bad it was. It’s almost like the commentator was told to ignore it. Imagine if Martinelli was banned amongst their dropping points all over the place.

The other thing that really bothered me was the Arsenal fans in the stadium—and especially right behind Bednarek where the incident happened—we’re booing, whistling, and calling him all manner of nasty things when he leaned back up on his knees, and again when he stood up (but using the physios for support). They’ve just sat 15-40 yards away from the incident, had an unobstructed view of Martinelli’s cowardly and dangerous challenge, and proceed to give him two fingers for nearly getting paralysed.

Stay classy Arsenal fans, stay classy.

Noticed another thing from that series; the quick little sucking in of air between the teeth. Obviously meaning something but I couldn't get what.
A sign of disapproval I think. Neapolitans have something similar. Mans a wasteman wit dem zed tees innit.

Shit result for them but seeing Zinchenko rallying them at 2-0 down made me feel nostalgic. Still remember the way he was rousing the players around him when we went 2-0 down against Villa (whilst Cancelo was crouched down seemingly haven given up).

He dragged us back into that game and having that kind of attitude and experience of knowing it's never too late has been a pretty useful addition to that Arsenal squad. Hopefully not too useful though.
I think odeegard and one or two others wernt happy with him when he did that last night

A bit like the dippers when Ederson’s face was ripped open.

I always thought that he was a fair poster as well. Along with @GunnerGer

That gooner0304 or whatever the fuck he was called was a complete **** however.

Cheers Bingo. Unfortunately due to a bit of a crisis at work not been able to come on much this week.

I did pop in once but seen there were about 20 pages over some ranting Arsenal fan on video so thought I'd let that be.

Anyway, title is just about over as I suspected, just a bit earlier than I thought. Wednesday will likely be the final nail in the coffin.

FWIW I think there will be a few more twists and turns, including Wednesday, though as an old Blue I obviously hope not.
