I agree with this 100%!!There’s no question in my mind that they went out to injure Rodri yesterday..
It was that fucking obvious.

Just before Arsenal take every corner, the defending side should have one of their players sit down for a rest so that their other players can go to the set piece coach to discuss tactics.Worked out what we need to do to defend those corners next time.
As soon as they take the corner, the defenders should just push out to the edge of the box. When Gabriel wins the header, those surrounding Ederson will be off side as interfering and directly in his eyeline.
If one team takes this approach successfully, all will, and that tactic will be defunct.
Agree it’s a foul, impeding the goalkeeper but why don’t other teams do it in return? I couldn’t for the life of me figure out why we didn’t do the same thing to raya in return..Arsenal deliberately built a wall around our keeper and held him back. Essentially flirting with the boundaries of the law. That's what their set-piece is designed to do. That's how they ranked top for set-piece goals last season.
It's nothing magical or "seriously wrong" with our defense, just refs allowing dirty tactics to prevail. We aren't the first victims to this, and won't be the last.
If Ederson started elbowing people to get out, they would've been awarded a penalty.
Straight after the final whistle too. The investment is staggering.Mate, its weird as fuck that you post on here.
