I've got a feeling he'll turn to one of the 17 year olds in the U21s who's been decent but would also not be surprised if he stuck Calafiori up top.

Shambolic leadership from the directors- absolute amateur hour stuff. Puts a huge workload and pressure on the remaining players. Apparently we didn't get Watkins because we wouldn't pony up an extra £10m on the £45m we offered so we could have had him for £55m.....

Arteta seems to like a target man up there to hold the ball up at times, so I think it far more likely that a taller, older player will play there.

My guess is Merino as he’s scored a few headers for Spain and is a physical presence.

When no physical presence needed, it’ll be Trossard or Martinelli.
