Arteta had to do a rebuild job. People say he has been here 5 years. But when you look at what he inherited, can you scold him for not winning the league in year 2 with a Kolisinac, Mustafi, Luiz, Bellerin backline?I'm pro Arteta because of where he's taken us but now's the time to be a big boy and win a trophy. The fact Slot has come in and done what he's done won't have gone unnoticed.
Re Pep winning the league with Arsenal if he was the manager - of course! He's the best manager around but he's not available to be Arsenal coach so we've got Arteta.

We lost our way under the later Wenger years and Emery was an unmitigated disaster who compounded the problems. It alarms me when Arsenal fans suggesting getting rid of Arteta, because in this league with Man City, Liverpool, Man United, Chelsea, Newcastle, Tottenham all striving for position, one bad managerial appointment and you can slide a long way down the league. Ive heard suggestions of bringing in Max Allegri - to me this would be the same as taking a hammer to the window of the plane in which you are in (why are you trying to fuck yourself?).
People say Arsenal fans are overly emotional, and we are. We have fans who call for the boards sacking after any setback, we have fans who malign Arteta despite the fact we are in a much better position than when he first joined. Thakfully our management are not impulse driven and dont make stupid decisions on a whim
Yeah but Man City won the league two seasons before Pep joined and were always in the top 4.Where are you from? Not an insult but I thought you were thick but it maybe just broken English…..
Pep won the league in his 2nd season after a rebuild.
The bad smell is back.Yeah but Man City won the league two seasons before Pep joined and were always in the top 4.
Also, suggesting someone is thick through apparent broken English seems very racially insensitive. Would you say that to a person from the sub-continent. Go wash your mouth out with soap.

The team is in Dubai as they essentially have 10 days off. Very handy at this stage of the seasonThey having a parade today ??????
Free weekend and all that
Very true. I mean Newcastle's method against you was to get really stuck un. Trippier fouling and winding Gabriel up was a good example. You were so much the better team with the ball but got bullued. Newcastle got a free pass re those tactics as they were the underdogs. Football's too tribal here.. Because your doing well fans really stick the boot in.. City have had this for 14 years ..it does get tiresome with all that ' plastic club..no 'istry..all that bollocks, Makes some fans reaally bitter. Hope you keep posting pal as these threads should be about getting an insight from fans of other clubs who follow their team more than we do as blues. Do you have a City thread on any Arsenal forums be interedting to have a proper foitball convo there?I understand what you're saying but previously we were Mary Poppins. Nice to look at, pretty football but ultimately easy to bully. We took some absolute pastings from City and Liverpool and have had to add steel and aggression to stop that. Maybe it's gone to far the other way now and we may adapt in future but we're not going to the Etihad/Klanfield and getting spanked for 5 or 6 any time soon.
Being honest not really and that's why I like BM - it's a football forum as much as it's a Man City forum. On Arsenal Mania for example the threads on other clubs tend to be very much an echo chamber and other clubs' fans aren't present. That being said on r/Gunners (on Reddit) I've seen quite a few City fans post on it and be welcomed as long as it's football related and not trolling.. Do you have a City thread on any Arsenal forums be interedting to have a proper foitball convo there?
On this point, the thing is 90% of football fans in real life are sound. 90% of football fans who interact online about other clubs are absolute morons. I imagine a lot of clubs' fans (including City) base what they think other clubs' fans aren't like on Internet interactions.City have had this for 14 years ..it does get tiresome with all that ' plastic club..no 'istry..all that bollocks, Makes some fans reaally bitter.
Irrespective of Arteta’s merits vs flaws, if you changed manager it would be quite an achievement to drop below Trafford and Spuds. The only position they’re “striving” for is staying in the Prem!Arteta had to do a rebuild job. People say he has been here 5 years. So your happy with Arteta winning one trophy and spending over £600M in five and a half years?Arteta had to do a rebuild job. People say he has been here 5 years.
