Cant believe the uproar a player on a yellow deliberately kicked the ball away delaying a quick free kick. Yellow all day. Rice, he wasn't thinking end of. Rodri got sent off v wolves at home for an innocuous shove ..booking maybe but straight red! so it happens to us all. Was rodri on a yellow..can'tbremember either way very harsh red.

They are, great shame about Paul Lake, one of the best footballers I've seen live, he's been in a pub I go in now and again The White Horse in Cockbrook but that was a long time ago, Neil Webb been in the same boozer as well.

He would have been great under pep.. ball playing Defensive Centre Mid

Great to see them drop points so early, and good to see rice out of the north london derby after the international break

Be interesting to see if arteta can get a tune out of Sterling

They played really well withb10 tbf. Bodes well for them in a very long season..

The problem with Rice's second yellow is that players do it quite often but don't get carded for it. Once again it's the lack of consistency that pisses off the fans.

That was obvious cheating from Rice hence the yellow.. its clear..just because he didn't kick it in the stands..

They had a penalty against us for a keeper follow through after the shot didn’t go in - no outrage
Rashford offside for Bruno goal - no outrage
Rodri sent off for touching forest players neck - no outrage

The outrage is that they see us two points ahead now

Unfortunately true.

Opening minute of the game, Doku swan dived and lost the ball which lead to a cross that Gvardiol had to do well to keep away from Antonio.

He also did a 1080° spin on the floor when he was fouled in the second half. Just fall to ground Jeremy, please, no need for three stupid rolls over.

Lewis is a bit of a diver n’all. Dived to try and win a penalty against Ipswich last week, was waved to get up on the edge of our own box on another and then won a free kick with a dive. He also won two free kicks yesterday at West Ham with dives.

Don’t like or want any of that shit at City me. I’ll never accept it as part of the game, never accept it as being alright because others do it. Just leave it out lads!

The desperate attempts to not call put the sheer stupidity from Rice has been a good laugh. There is zero argument against the decision. Even the what about Pedro shouts do not help him, he's committed a yellow card offence,m whilst on a yellow card. It's nothing but a brain dead decision from Rice. Veltmans played him but so what, you do what you can to get advantages within the laws of the game, If the opposition are stupid enough to take the bait it's their fault.

The missing link Keown trying to lay blame anywhere but Rice and go in on veltman for unsportsmanship was hilarious, disappointed crouch or anybody else didn't go to town on him for thise comments. This is a man who is most famous for screaming in van nistelrooy's face in one of the most iconic acts of unsportsmanlike behavior we've seen.

Draw was a decent result but Brighton should have won, arsenal will be relatively pleased with the point and to be fair did well with a man down. Shame its not against us but Rice missing for the spurs game could be big if Spurs don't bottle it for once (big ask)

If by some miracle spurs can take points from arsenal and we win our next 2 games. We could have a 7/8 point lead over them in late September. We would really test that arsenal mentality fragility if we could do that and maintain the gap for a month or 2 if not extend it.

Literally straight after the game they were already talking about how they need to be perfect to compete with us, we're embedded into their every thought and I think something quite incredible could happen if we got that kind of gap this early. I desperately want to see a complete and total mental capitulation from them. They're capable, and us and spurs could cause it.

That's not quite right. Veltman rolls the ball at Rice and the ball is still moving when the supposed 'kicking of the ball' happened so it would have had to be retaken. Basically Veltman knew exactly what he was doing and Rice took the bait.

99 times out of 100 no card is issued, plus the ref has form for erratic decision making - he's the ref that disallowed a legitimate Bournemouth winner against Newcastle last week and then didn't send off Joelinton for grabbing the Bmth keeper around the neck but somehow Rice's offence is deemed worse. However, Given the fact we know he's a crap ref Rice should have known better and not taken a risk. It was stupid and almost certainly cost Arsenal 2 points. It was a harsh decision without being a wrong decision if that makes sense. But Rice cannot blame anyone other than himself

That was a clear yelliw pal from Rice ..just obvious cheating to gain an advatage..if it a Brighton player did that if they were 1 up..outrage! Rice take your medicine. Arteta be more professional.. arsenal fans..no hope for many. So one eyed! As someone posted here we had loads going against us.. bruno / rashford .Rodri off at home. Debacle v wolve away when their lad should have been off. List goes on. Thing is to haveca winning team you havecto accept and roll your sleeves up.
