I for once agree with you, i think if you rush him back it may turn into a long term thing sometimes you have to hold a player back for their own good.

They had 9 outfield players play 34 or more league games last season froma. Possible 38, they were probably the most injury free team in the entire division by a distance too and yet they still think injuries cost them last year.

Looks like Odegaard is out for 4 weeks. Will miss Spurs away, Atalanta away and City away.

I'd rather we get him back to full fitness rather than rush him. That's what the squad is for and hopefully Nwaneri gets some minutes against Spurs.

If they’ve not been able to do the tests/scans as of yet, then that suggests the swelling is still too bad to do them, which in turn means it’s likely to be worse than hoped.

It could just be bullshit though as Arteta evaded all time scales and didn’t confirm anything re the scans.
