That kid doing the Haaland celebration might just be the most tragic thing I've seen in years. It could only have been more tragic had it not been a kid doing it. They've basically just had a title celebration for going potentially 9 points behind the league leaders from a potential 12.

This is turning into one of those situations where you have a lunatic who has developed an obsession with you, they've made you their mortal enemy and want nothing more than to destroy you, only you have no idea they even exist.

It's so weird.

They got us at our weakest and we'll just have to make sure it never happens again.

What Arsenal need to do now is make sure this is a catalyst for going on a run of 8 wins in a row - but that won't happen.

One to tell his teammates about in 5 years when he's turning out for Gateshead.

Some 30 years ago I attended a company management meeting at a hotel just south of St Albans in Hertfordshire. At the bar one night I got into a chat with an older guy who worked behind the bar there. He was a Spurs fan and we swapped notes about our teams' ups and downs, great players etc., many of whom lived (and to this day continue to live) in the Hertfordshire area, just 20 miles or so from the two North London giants.

He 'took the Michael' out of Manchester and its rain and then he mentioned something which has stuck in my mind ever since, that by contrast, St Albans was the 'least windy part of the country'.

I have no idea if this is true or not! But given the behaviour of Arsenal's team during the game today, I guess it's most fortuitous that many of them live and work in that part of the world. At the merest hint of a gentle zephyr created by our players wafting by them, it resulted in a total collapse to the floor of those in red..

I bet Arteta spends most of his day at the training ground keeping half an eye on the local weather app in case the Beaufort Scale reading suggests the breeze is getting up.. he'd never get through a full day of training, poor thing, if he had to cope with the Manchester climate..
Brilliant

This is bang on. They clearly don’t understand the “stay humble”. They lost titles due to getting over excited. They have a terrible disciplinary record due to being overexcited unprofessional b**ends. Their obsession and piss taking of Haaland would make sense if he hadn’t won the treble, smashed every record and they themselves were on equal footing to us. They aren’t, they are a team of bums, led by a bum.
You spelt bum wrong , it’s **** You’re welcome

I take great glee in the fact it seems to be universal across all football fans that they’ve proved Haaland’s point today after how they’ve acted.

That kid’s celebration being the main bit.

They’ve won and still somehow come out looking like cunts. A special power.

Another one they have only second to the fact they have a knack of bottling it every time it matters.

Trying to banter a treble winner wearing a shirt with 2 gold badges on, that has never worn a city shirt without a gold badge on it from a fanbase that hasn't worn one of those badges in over 20 years and has never even competed for the other badge. It's like being dumped by Margot Robbie and having a 30 yr old virgin laugh at you for it.

Still think it's more likely that we finish above them than they win a trophy this year tbh.

Apologies, except for the We-trolled-Haaland cup they won today.
The way we defend it's very unlikely, Arsenal may bottle a tiny bit, but they hardly ever lose, Liverpool still favourites but we look like imploding every other week - so a top 7 - 8 spot for is is just as unlikely... terrible situation we have got ourselves in - this is no 'blip' just disastrous planning

It made it even better when Haaland scored and just ran to the away end. Proper inferiority complex over at the Emirates, they’ve clearly been thinking about Haaland and City a lot. Can’t say it’s surprising after we’ve broken their hearts two years running.

I genuinely had no idea arsenal fans were THIS mentally ill. my eyes have been opened today. They are actually so much worse than liverpool fans have EVER been, I am not joking. I've been maintaining for years that arsenal are more down to earth, no they are GONE, they have completely lost their mind. It's good to know these tossers will never win a trophy lmao

I'm not having the moaning about them celebrating. They just battered us, the team that broke their hearts two years on the bounce. Of course they are going to celebrate it. I do hate them though and Liverpool were pipping United to my most hated side but since Klopp has left and my choice is Arsenal or Liverpool, then Liverpool all day. I don't mind Slot and Liverpool getting 20 titles will piss United off. The season we have a year off and Arsenal lose out would be greatly satisfying. They don't carry themselves well, snidey tactics at the etihad. Cry about every refereeing decisions, releasing statements about decisions, frosty manager interviews. Just a big bunch of fannys. They can enjoy today, they should do and deserved to on the pitch. Lets pray they don't win anything.... again.

Result was beyond expectations from an Arsenal fans point of view. I was expecting a draw or 1 goal win. To be honest I didn't think we would lose as I thought we would concede 1 goal at most.

As or Skelly's celebration. Can understand why not many like it but its part of who he is, only 18 years and already playing with so much conviction, the way Skelly an Nwaneri and breaking out this season is fantastic for us. If Skelly was more passive he wouldn't be as effective. I can sense rival fans genuinely rate Skelly. Should get called up for the next England squad.
