Players are allowed to compete. I saw Andy Roberton get stuck into Messi and slap his face on the field. Players are allowed to compete. It doesn't matter who you are, when you cross the white line its a contest and no player should not be willing to get stuck in just because of a player's aura.

Do people here think lower league teams when competing in the FA Cup with upper PL teams, should bring their autograph book and not get amongst it?

People call Arsenal fans sensitive and entitled, but basically the entire Man City fanbase thinks Haaland should be 'respected' rather than competed with.
Wanker where have you fucked off to blud

Can't believe they didn't sign a forward. All that money spent and still no threat from a No9. Poor, especially when the whole footballing world knows what they need. Their shit housery is the one thing that all opposition fans dislike them for - not good to watch.

I think the clear thing with Arsenal is the manager
He is pathetic
The handshake at the end said it all. He couldn’t even say congratulations, or infact say anything at all
He sets the tone and the tone is snide, shithouse, time wasting, victim mentality. Entitlement……
I can’t believe he managed to work with pep for so long and not take any of the most important elements.

Yes, that's the definite message that's coming through. Throughout the land.
Let's be clear. As a club, we're not much liked, now. If you win trophy after trophy after trophy, you will become intensely disliked by fans of other clubs. The more so if the media are constantly shoving a narrative down people's throats that it was all done with financial cheating.
But Arsenal are managing to make themselves disliked without actually winning anything!Takes some doing, that.
its the shithouse way they play football that has made them disliked, the constant time wasting, the feigning injuries for impromptu team talks, the throwing themselves to the floor at every single opportunity, the dirty little tricks at corners, the fans and their aftv bullshit and last but not least captain black and his touchline antics and constant bitching and moaning in interviews and press conferences.

Their defeat last night made me so bloody happy.

For years I have been totally indifferent to the Tarquins and what they were doing: too busy enjoying every second of our record-breaking successes. But since their total refusal to play anything resembling football against us I've lost the last vestige of respect I ever had for the club and its supporters.
Battling for the Prem trophy, and instead of going for it they sat 10 men behind the ball and time-wasted worse than any other professional team I can remember doing. Reya taking an age to carry out goal kicks, pointless substitutions just to wind the clock down, players going down theatrically and feigning injury every 30 seconds, and Arteta running out of the technical area to give his players more anti-footballing instructions.

Since then it's been more of the same, small wonder the footballing world joined together and cheered to the rafters when the full time whistle went last night.

On behalf of football fans everywhere, thank you Newcastle. Thank you very much.
Yes I surprised myself at the pleasure I took at that result. Arse-wipes have got so far up my nose this season that I'm almost indifferent that the dippers are running away with the league. I guess I should be grateful to them...

My conclusions on Arteta's managerial weaknesses were sealed following our defeat vs liverpool in the CL
We were 1-0 up at HT and still with all to play for. Pep had been sent off, so it was Arteta's responsibility to rally the players, his Churchillion moment
We fucking capitulated

the man plays on pure emotion what happened last Sunday will turn into.there downfall ..........yet again

Great post sir. It is all those things you mention. We're pissed off you took our players, we are pissed off you took our place, we are pissed off you slapped us about for the previous 7/ 8 years whatever it is. We are pissed off that when we've became decent again to that you've still beat us to the last 2 titles. We know how good you were, we know you were the new benchmark, and by hook or by crook we've been trying to swing back and land some blows back on you.

I need to ask, does nobody actually like the needle though? I don't think i want you to like Arsenal, I don't want your players to really respect Arsenal. You've had all that with Klopp and Liverpool. I like the edge to these games now, that the players are giving it out to each other in an all too sanitised game now. 20+ years on people are still talking about Vieira Vs Keane, the Highbury tunnel, Pizza gate etc. When Haaland chucked the ball off Gabriel's head, i was rubbing my hands together. Was brilliant. Finally, 2 proper characters having the balls to have a go at each other. I'm sure what happened on Sunday will light a fire under Haaland, Pep and City in general.
Good post that and completely agree. I think Lewis-Skelly's homage is a bit short sighted but bet for Arsenal fans it was hilarious. The needle is fun and good to have more people to hate
