Yeah the feeling was he was so much bigger than the other lads in his age group and when he got older and played against bigger lads then the advantage would reduce.Watched him against us last week. He’s a big lad and not much else.

Arteta seems to like a target man up there to hold the ball up at times, so I think it far more likely that a taller, older player will play there.
My guess is Merino as he’s scored a few headers for Spain and is a physical presence.
When no physical presence needed, it’ll be Trossard or Martinelli.
Eh. Not sure I've made any excuses. Dippers are the best team this season and BTW with their current points projection of 94 points on current pacing they'd have won the league each season for the last 4 seasons and 5 seasons ago they won it with 99 points. So they're better than us but they're also better points wise than you've been for the last 5 seasons too. This Liverpool side is therefore better than any City side since the Centurions from a League perspective so it's not as if we'd kept up our level from last season that we'd have won it.
Told you it’d be Merino. ;-)Yeah the feeling was he was so much bigger than the other lads in his age group and when he got older and played against bigger lads then the advantage would reduce.
Hope you put money on it!Told you it’d be Merino. ;-)

Sadly not. Having to make do with Marmoush up front in the FPLHope you put money on it!
Knowing our board they'll now think we don't need a new striker and go and sign yet another left back.....
I hope he gets another one against the Dippers!Omar Marmoush has now scored more PL hat tricks than Bukayo Saka.

I game against a side thinking about a cup final doesn't turn our shit season round.. sadly I cant see our defence holding out for long really.. city 1 Dippers 3 i thinkI hope he gets another one against the Dippers!
That was a strange decision.. Kane or Benzamar would have been great for you..or even Billy Sharpe! Havertz.. despite knobbling Rodri first min! Has been great tbf.. has a lot in his locker.. a bit more composure in front of sticks.. you have a great all rounder wjo can go up up top when your main striker is out.. just need a main striker of courseHavertz out for rest of season with torn hamstring. Sterling and Trossard up front coming to a shitshow near you soon.
Sad news for Kai. 15 goals in what 33 games is a good tally for someone who by far is not a proper striker.
As for the club deciding not to get a striker in during the January window. You fucking bunch of absolute grade A morons.
Im more excited about the Liverpool drop points result. This week cmon City, we didn't throw missiles at your team bus, we didn't throw coins into the City end from our away section.Looks like either Feyenoord or PSV in the next round of the CL.
