Why not, Liverpool are good going forward but who have they played. We can get a point there at least because their defence is shocking.

Exactly. I don't know why it's assumed we won't win at Liverpool. Grow a fuckin pair already. We were competitive against Barca at Camp Nou and beat Bayern at the Allianz and now we're afraid of the fucking dippers? It'll be a really tough game but the shit negativity on here is crazy!

I'm not sure why anyone thinks we even need to win. A draw at Anfield would be brilliant! Win our other games, draw at Anfield, we're fucking champions ffs!

I'm pretty surprised by some of the complaining in this thread. We expected to be 3 points behind Chelsea tonight with two games in hand. We're 2 points behind them with two games in hand, and we've chalked off Arsenal and the rags away which leaves Everton and Liverpool.

As things stand we're closer to the title than we thought we would be. I'm disappointed with the performance - but I'm also fucking buzzing about what the Chelsea loss means.

Arsenal may of also celebrated that point but it will hopefully sink in shortly that not winning that game has ended their title hopes.

Honestly don't think they had serious title hopes....this point just helps secure top 4

that would have been the cushion going to anfield. we will not win there.
That's the spirit. You are one of the people that think we have no chance at winning the title either right?
I think we can win the title , but after we go to the fucking hasbeens arsenal and cant win...... this is definetly a turning point but which way...... im so pissed off!!!!! Anyone else feel like they just witnessed a horror show

No

We need Aguero back. Am not pissed off with the result, it's expected when Arsenal fucked up in their last two games. The reason why Arsenal scored (IMO) was because it was a great goal. I'd rather draw/lose to a great goal than a shit fuck up.

Aguero though, he gets you great goals.

Agree with this. He's such a fantastic player he will give us a massive boost when he gets back. Glad we are not trying to rush him this time. He'll shoot us to the title, just wait and see.

Not going to blame Pellegrini for that, several of the players were arrogant, complacent and the net result is we almost lost.

Nasri is always hopeless at the Emirates. Yaya who could have swung it for us had a lazy day and Dzeko was well the bad version.

Had we won today I think that would have been the league wrapped up.

As someone said Arsenal were missing some great players. And they were out of form. We should have beaten them. We got a point however, and that may be crucial at the end of the season.

I wouldn't start worrying about the dippers just yet. There's a small matter of southampton to deal with first. We've struggled plenty against them since they got promoted. it isn't gonna happen itself the players need to make it happen. 2 points dropped for me!

I think Arsenal defended brilliantly for pretty much the whole game, they kept their shape and didn't give us anything in behind them. Whenever we went wide we only had one or two players to aim at in the box.

That said, we were also very good at the back again today, particularly Demichelis and Kompany, who were both excellent.

All things considered, a good result which keeps our destiny well within our own hands.
