Arsenal v City post match thread

Can't help but think it's a huge chance missed. Never got going 2nd half

Indeed, a win would have meant we could still lose 6 points and still win the league, even if Chelsea and Liverpool won every game.

I don't see us dropping more than 6 points from here on in so this game could have been the day we look back on where we won the league.

We have let Chelsea off after todays result and let Arsenal back in the race.

It's looking like a weekly occassion now that it seems written in the starts that Liverpool are going to win it.

What really winds me up is referees seem to book all our best players it's almost as if they want to take them out of the game so we can't play.

Arteta and Rosicky clear yellows ignored yet every time a City player made a challenge it was a yellow?

Anyway 4pts at Arsenal and Swamp bloody good return if you ask me - we can win this just need Liverpool to have a blip or better still get Aguero fit!

Looked a bit leggy and ground out a point that in hindsight could win us the league at the end of the day......
4pts from the nobheads and arsenal is nothing to be sniffed at.......
Onwards and upwards. ....

I'd take that. Would mean more if spurs get a result tomorrow.

not in a million years the bin dippers will walk that Spuds are truly awful

i supose you had chelsea down for the 3 points today in your predictions

Suarez and Sturridge against Spuds back 4 - foregone conclusion.

Great point there.

Media will be pulling each other off if liverpool get a result, however we've just got a very good point and I'm chuffed as the City train is well on course to be champions.

Come on City.

That's the spirit. You are one of the people that think we have no chance at winning the title either right?
I think we can win the title , but after we go to the fucking hasbeens arsenal and cant win...... this is definetly a turning point but which way...... im so pissed off!!!!! Anyone else feel like they just witnessed a horror show

No

Agree, despite them getting trashed by Chelsea, Arsenal have a decent set of players and a good manager. It's a fantastic result, Chelsea lost as well today.... No idea why everyone overreacts so much. There was a lot at stake going for us if we had won but even losing, drawing didn't change anything.

Exactly. I don't know why it's assumed we won't win at Liverpool. Grow a fuckin pair already. We were competitive against Barca at Camp Nou and beat Bayern at the Allianz and now we're afraid of the fucking dippers? It'll be a really tough game but the shit negativity on here is crazy!

I'm not sure why anyone thinks we even need to win. A draw at Anfield would be brilliant! Win our other games, draw at Anfield, we're fucking champions ffs!

I'm pretty surprised by some of the complaining in this thread. We expected to be 3 points behind Chelsea tonight with two games in hand. We're 2 points behind them with two games in hand, and we've chalked off Arsenal and the rags away which leaves Everton and Liverpool.

As things stand we're closer to the title than we thought we would be. I'm disappointed with the performance - but I'm also fucking buzzing about what the Chelsea loss means.

THIS ! yes not really happy with the 2nd half...but with chelsea losing it balances out

ofcourse if by any chance liverpool drop points tomorrow ....its a good week
