Arsenal v City post match thread

Why is Everyone assuming Liverpool will win every game even if they beat us. If they do they will have put together the best winning run ever in the prem 14 wins on the trot. Ain't gonna happen I still think 7 wins will do us and a fair chance we will only need six

good point down there
there a top 4 team which ppl are forgetting
but 2 games in hand and just take a point at liverpool happy days

Yes, but a top 4 team who currently have Koscielny, Wilshire, Ozil, Walcott and Ramsey out.

That's like them facing us without Vinny, Yaya, Silva and Nasri.

Bottle job in the second half cost us, we were in complete control by half time yet allowed arrogance and complacency into our game that allowed a depleted rsenal side currently low on confidence back into the game.

We were pretty much hanging on after the 70 min mark.

Not the end of the world a point but a massive opportunity missed, Liverpool must be ecstatic, advantage them.

I'm not sure why anyone thinks we even need to win. A draw at Anfield would be brilliant! Win our other games, draw at Anfield, we're fucking champions ffs!

I'm pretty surprised by some of the complaining in this thread. We expected to be 3 points behind Chelsea tonight with two games in hand. We're 2 points behind them with two games in hand, and we've chalked off Arsenal and the rags away which leaves Everton and Liverpool.

As things stand we're closer to the title than we thought we would be. I'm disappointed with the performance - but I'm also fucking buzzing about what the Chelsea loss means.

Exactly. And let's no forget that 2 points could have quite easily been 6, such are the margins and our record at the Emirates. At the very least five as no one expected Chelsea to lose today.

If Spurs can do Liverpool tomorrow, doubtful but you never know, it will have been a fantastic weekend. No ifs or buts.

If Spurs do Liverpool, i will bake a 9 ft rasperry sponge spunge pudding and sit on top of it, swigging a glass of fairy liquid.

I think most of the post who seem to be unhappy are not because of the point but by the way the team performed. If a good performance was given I would bet most people would be happy.

Liverpool have the momentum, evened out by City getting Aguero back. But then Liverpool have the easier fixtures, advantage to them. So City have to win at Anfield.

I'd love to know where all the tactical genius' are who have been telling me all season that Mourinho's got the fucking "know how". They've consistently dropped atrocious points all season. I'm going to laugh my cock off if Liverpool finish above them.

For us it's been a fantastic day. Credit to Arsenal btw, showed some real character and played some real quality football. Very few teams will be able to pen us in the way they did at times in the second half.

This same 11 looked like world beaters against Utd shows how shite they are lol

That just shows Arsenal are like us worlds apart, but get what you mean.

Put in context, our 1-1 draw at emirates isn't bad. Chelsea drew 0-0, rags won 1-0, pool lost 2-0. It isn't a bad result really
