I'd go bold on Sat, we just have to win and therefore need to do something different to surprise them. If we go with a packed defensive midfield it will follow the usual script with a 1-0 defeat.

My team....

................................Hart..................................
......Zab..........Vince............Nasty...........Clichy......
.....................Milner............Barry.........................
...........Merlin............Tevez............Balo.................
...............................Dzeko..................................
except for that Balotelli ain't a wide player..... Perhaps Sinclair in LAM?

Balotelli has to play this game. He is the fastest ( most explosive forward we have available ).
Dzeko will only come in later in the game when things have slowed down. If we start dzeko he will get the ball pinched of him and we don't have near enough pace to get to the wings and play to his strengths
The problem is we don't have enough wingers and I would not suggest our fullbacks rushing forward in this game because if there's one thing they have it is blistering pace and we would get cooked.
We just have to get them to try to play through the middle, we are much better at it or at least more used to doing it.
I predict a few yellows for our Cm's. Tevez behind mario, silva floating around.

Big game Sunday we need all 3 points but with Nasri, Yaya and Sergio out it will be a hard game i hope we get the result

Thinking the same, would be very confident at full strength but av draw now more likely.

That's because you don't understand that we are without Aguero and two key midfielders so are quite likely to play one up front, and Balotelli is best suited to that role

He's also a far better player than you give him credit for......European Championships

Mario had every ball gifted to him by Pirlo. So many people bring it up but refuse to give credit to where it is actually due and that is to Pirlo for orchestrating such a sublime piece of artwork.

News to me that Mario, who is a striker; cannot play without another striker.

It is also news to me that he is best suited for the role up front considering he has how many goals this season?

Tevez/Dzeko up front for me. I would rather have strikers who have bagged goals this season then one who might cost us one.

You never know Mario could start and do fabulous but I am going to bet against it this time.

This is an important match, Mancini you better not mess this up; otherwise look forward to my angry letter in the mail. It will be very angry.

neither of mario's goals in the semi were assisted by pirlo, so ...

Pretty sure this video would like to disagree with you on that one so... I'm sorry I couldn't hear you over your Fail?

Oh as a side note - we weren't JUST talking about the Semis.

It should of been 10....

That's right, with our 'Pint of Guiness' getting a brace and regaining form. New haircut, new Mario!

Shame were not playing before the rags, but then again don't expect any less of sky.

Hart; Zabaleta, Kompany, Nastasic, Clichy; Milner, Garcia, Barry; Silva, Balotelli, Tevez.
Pantilimon; Maicon, Lescott; Razak, Sinclair, Suarez; Balotelli
Two Marios are better than one! No Dzeko? Also, Razak cannot play.

Starting with Mario just creates too much pressure on him to have a mega game. We've got 3 fit strikers, one of the starters will be subbed around 60mins. Imagine if Mario were to start, lead the line manfully but unspectacularly for an hour to be then subbed by Edin, who subsequently scores the winner. Will the press salute a terrific game plan perfectly executed? No, it will be "Balotelli fails again, City rescued by Dzeko".

I don't know what everyone is fearing Arsenal for!
This should help you feel better, comparing players 1 to 1.
Bold ones are better, ones left are pretty much equal imo.
Hart-Szczęsny
Zabaleta-Sagna
Kompany-Vermaelen
Nastasic-Koscielny
Clichy - Gibbs
Barry - Wilshere
Garcia- Arteta
Silva - Cazorla
Tevez-Walcott
Dzeko - Giroud
Balotelli-Podolski

Any possible changes

Milner-Ramsey
Sinclair- Arshavin/Gervinho/Ox

Man to Man we have so much more quality, relax and let the boys take control!
Arsenal aren't doing very well themselves, just watch on Sunday!

Arsenal 0-2 City

Could you compare us man-to-man with Sunderland? Individual quality doesn't matter in fixtures like this, good tactics and work ethic (both of which we've lacked in many trips to the Emirates) make the difference. We lost there last season with a stronger team than we'll be able to put out on Sunday, if Mancini has learned something from past fixtures against Arsenal though we might win.

what do you mean individual quality doesn,t matter in fixtures like this? of course it does!!
