Win this, and what happens when we go to Liverpool becomes an irrelevance IMO

Disagree. If we lose at Anfield, we will be only 1pt clear of them, and the way they are scoring goals, they could top us on goal difference. That would leave us zero margin for error - and we would still have a trip to Goodison ahead of us.

Re: City v Arsenal Pre Match Thread

Think we should now play with one striker up front v Arsenal as we did last night, and for at least the remaining potentially toughest games v Everton and v Liverpool and maybe even at home v Southampton also.

Other games (Palace (A), Sunderland (H), WBA (H), Villa (H) and West Ham (H)) we should have 2 up front (ideally Aguero + another from Negredo, Dzeko or Jovetic)

Credit to Dzeko last night he worked hard and had an excellent game. He needs to show that attitude for each of the remaining games he plays in, and not sulk if dropped for Negredo for any game.

The extra man in midfield helps make us look a little bit more solid defensively and will help nullify Arsenal.

Arsenal without Ozil, Wiltshire, Walcott and potentially Ramsay (although like Aguero, Ramsay could be fit on Saturday I hear) will still be tough to beat. Again we need all of our players playing well and again be pressing and energetic right from the start of the game again, otherwise we will lose.

Hopefully v Arsenal is not a case of after the Lord Mayors show (v Utd), and all the players can sense how close the Title could be with a win there, especially as Liverpool do not play their game until the Sunday and if Arsenal lose to City Spurs may think they can catch Arsenal if they beat Liverpool, and fingers crossed Palace can pull of a minor miracle v Chelsea.

If we can beat Arsenal (and its still quite a big if) and do not take Southampton lightly in the early kick off a week later, those 2 potential wins will set us up perfectly for the Liverpool game where even a draw may well be a good result.

Here's hoping we can do this starting with winning at the Emirates.

Re: City v Arsenal Pre Match Thread

Sorry if it's already been discussed, but is Koscielny definitely out for them on Saturday?

Physio room shows no return date which is why I ask.
