Arsenal will be there or abouts this season.

Their chief exec just been appointed to the FA's Professional Games Board the same disciplinary panel as Mr Gill at the Scum so we'll get doubled hammered whilst Arse get away with another few broken legs.

The thing you have to look at with Arsenal last season the worst start ever with injuries and lack of new signings until late. They finished the season well enough to get 3rd. This season 3 new players in during pre season which is great for them. Also there defence isnt that bad I think if the 2 centre backs stay injury free they will be up there. Song is a good midfielder with a bit of the nasty stuff when needed. Lacking a leader. I dont think so give the armband to Vermalen and he is the man that will lead that team. I honestly think they could well win a cup this year be it FA or Carling Cup. I honestly think the younger players will be better for them this year Chamberlain be interested to see where he fits in and how he progresses this season.

Strength in depth and defence is still awful. 3rd/4th is all they can hope for imo

They can have as many great attacking players as they want but they still have a shit defence.

I think with Pat Rice going and 1 of the George Graham old players coming in to be Wengers new assistant might change that Wenger has made a couple of changes in his backround team with Steve Bould his new assistant who would sort that defence out if Wenger lets him get his hands on them. Also I think Neil Banfield was promoted to the senior coaching set up fresh ideas for Wenger to bounce off these 2 new additions. They will keep the flair and I think they will get stronger in the defence this season.

Arsenal's main weaknesses for the last few seasons has been a lack of leadership. They have not addressed it. You cannot win the league without a leader, unless of course no team in the league has a leader ;)

It's no coincidence that Vieira left Arsenal in 2005 and they've not won a trophy since. They do lack that extra bit of drive required to grind that win or Cup run out. He was never replaced properly.

If Arsenal keep RVP and sort out the fullbacks, they will compete for the league

The PGMOL to should Assign Sian Massey to Officiate all Arse games to keep Vermalan(sp) busy. The dirty pervert.
