No my uncle took his own life so I take exception to people mocking fun of mental illnesses in the same way you would. Or at least i'd expect you to. I don't care what you personally think of other posters, it's you making light of something serious that affects other people I have issue with.

I wouldn't want a response mate. People like him use threads like this and the election one to slag off people whose opinions he disagrees with. He adds nothing, contributes nothing. I came on wondering exactly what the details were about the £36bn and what bluemooners thought about it and I saw that, revelling in his joy about a poster he disagrees with not as vocal on the threads.

He publicly states his defence of the NHS and people suffering due to NHS cuts yet finds depression and suicide comedic tools for ridiculing others. What is going on in his head?

What exactly do we "owe"? Have we been taking loans from the EU's budget to pay for things we copuldn't necessarily afford?

That's what's irritating me about it; the EU isn't telling us precisely what we owe or why they've changed the figure so many times. "It's 50bn, no 80bn, wait it's 100bn!"

And it's that level of hypocrisy that puts a lot of people off, even posters who have left wing views.

Google tells me they are talking about our share of the RAL deficit - the EU's unfunded commitments for the next 7 years. As we know that budget was based upon calculations of when we were members. We won't be in a year or so, so they need to adjust their budget accordingly. Like normal people do when they suddenly have less money.

As i was reading about that I see they are threatening to kick Poland out. So they get to leave before us. lol

Of course they have a process to exclude a country if it doesn't follow the common rules. How else would it work?

It's in reference to some opinions way back that a referendum was the only way to leave, so in future if any eurosceptic government gained power, what would stop them simply disobeying the EU and then the EU kicking us out that way? Our 'membership' is not as iron clad as the more passionate pro-EU advocates have made out, I feel.

The way our parliamentary democracy works - the way that MPs and the Lords work - means that any government who took that approach would have to advertise it their manifesto (one way or another), or risk being kicked out of government long before that happened.
