I'd have Vidal anyway of the week, one of the most complete midfielders in the world. Pogba is gonna be world class aswell.

Juventus' Arturo Vidal is one of Europe's best midfielders Vidal, 26, is also a target for Real Madrid but Juve are trying to persuade him to sign a contract extension.

MANCHESTER CITY have moved for Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal – and been stunned by a demand for £45million.

City switched targets after becoming frustrated in their pursuit of Shakhtar Donetsk’s Fernandinho.

They were ready to pay £25m but the Ukraine club want £40m.

Vidal, however, would be even more expensive after Juve rejected a £35m bid from Champions League winners Bayern Munich.

The Turin club’s response to City’s approach amounts to a hands-off.

Vidal, 26, is also a target for Real Madrid but Juve are trying to persuade him to sign a contract extension.

City were monitoring Vidal when Roberto Mancini was in charge of the team.

But they thought they might have a trump card in the battle for Vidal through the imminent arrival of new boss Manuel Pellegrini.
