My mother lives just off Richmond Street should I be planning on flying home?

Why don't you ask your mum? Or will people on here know more about your mums welfare?

She'll be in bed now, wouldn't want to wake her up for nothing

The petrol bombs and gunshots have probably kept her awake, unless she is a heavy sleeper!!

LOL I'll email the combination to my shotgun safe just in case.

Just like it was during the London riots, BBM is going to play a huge part in this along with Twitter. Rumblings already in the virtual world.

We must fight against aggressive Islam before it dominates UK culture and politics.

The amount of attacks will increase not decrease, look at Somalia, Philippines, Thailand, India, Sri Lanka, Nigeria, Borneo, Syria, Afghanistan and too many other countries where Islam has enforced itself upon. War death slaughter and death too other religions.

How do we fight against aggressive Islam ? Where do we start ?

I know you are trying to take the mick but ban Bhurkas, close aggressive preaching Mosques, postpone new mosque builds, stop aggressive preachers, deport known terrorists, deport expected terrorists, stop Islamic migration to UK until controls are adhered to, ban Islamic marches preaching hate toward UK armed forces, police or British Citizens, stop UK funded Islamic only schools, tag Moderate at risk radical Islamists, educate society, allow woman equal rights, allow islamc woman to choose a life for their own, stop Rape gangs exploiting the weak, stop benefits to known Islamic exploiters, ensure English spoken language rules are adhered to. respectable Muslims would agree to all of these to stop the spread of radical Islam.

Apart from the Bhurka being none-of-your-fooking-business(especially if the woman chooses this for herself and they can DO, believe me!), the tagging and the border shit, I can pretty much agree with that post.

My main concern has always been the extreme clerics. I just keep wondering where all the good cleric voices are.

How can so few out shout the majority...??

But, then again, when countries of Islam are being occupied and bombed, surely you expect a backlash, somehow??

Maybe you should also petition to get the soldiers out of those countries and this society can start the healing process...???

As stated by StrangewaysHereWeCome, Blackberry Messenger. Essentially think of a free texting service where you can talk in single conversations but also send out broadcast messages which can then be copied and broadcast again by recipients (and so on). The police have no access to the data unless it's sent to them so a lot of London youths used it to organise large groups during the London riots.

So, Bigga, Islam is one great whole, is it? No, it isn't. It is hugely fragmented. There's Sunni and Shia to start with, then Sufism, then lots of other small and not so small sects, many of whom are discriminated against by the majority sect in their particular country. The vast majority of Muslims are peaceable and want to live within the framework of the laws the country they live in. Unfortunately there is a minority who want to return to the Caliphate, live under an extremely politicised Salifist system - it is those who threaten anyone who demurs from their hate filled agenda. Let's not fall into the EDL trap and simplicise things to a Beano level - us and them. It ain't like that.
