Hameed averaged 20 odd in CC last season, not sure he's ready for this just yet.Hameed - Lancs
Browne - Essex
Davies - Somerset
Burns - Surrey

He would have been a disaster this tour, looks incapable of playing short bowling in the championship, let alone at test level in Aus.

Well the way our openers are playing anything would be worth a try. I'd bring Hales in just to try something different.He's been in before,and did very well until the broken finger remember though,got to be worth another crack
We look inacapable of scoring runs, its like we are just waiting to get out. Surely we have to find a way to score 3 or 4 an over and try and put some pressure back on the aussies. At this rate the aussies know they will bowl us out as we aren't good enough to bat that long to get the runs.

I think we’re more than capable to hit some quick runs, just haven’t got the bollocks to open up. Maybe last out tonight and puts some pressure on the aussies in the morning.

Well you know what England cricket team is like for chopping and changing,as for having a disaster I presume you have seen our latest scorecards,there are a few whose gonna need to improve quickly,no way should he be forgotten about and he is still young,get him in I say

I think he's the answer long term, it would have been idiotic to bring him on this tour though before he's sorted out some pretty clear flaws, might have ruined him for good.
