Given the high demand for your services by some of Europes major clubs,what persuaded you to accept City's offer?

I know you have to continually push your Pellegrini agenda as you already made yourself look a dickhead over Mancini but that takes the cake.

Chelsea got Mourinho end of, there is no possible scenario that they would want Pellegrini instead. As for Barca, I highly doubt it as he'd be an idiot to turn them down in favour of City.

It's bollocks though and you obviously can't prove it but thanks for the laugh.

BILD also wrote that he was Bayern's second choice behind Guardiola, so he was clearly in some demand and is a widely respected coach in Europe. A shame some of our fans have no patience and have turned into everything they once despised.

No he didn't. He was close to agreeing a deal with us but city had heard that Barca might make a move on him. I happen to know that The Independant story above is from sources right at the top of the club.

Some have said that the way Barca leaked our approach to him was in retaliation for us getting there first, but I don't believe that. Their leak hastened Mancini's sacking and ensured we tied him down quicker than was planned.

Play the same card as Big Mouth if you want, and scoff at something even though you know nothing about it. Doesn't bother me. The truth is the truth.
