Think our squad depth is a bit thin on the ground

Phillips, Gomez, Bobb are now back ups for regular first team players - and realistically how many would start those players in any game baring dead rubber CL matches, early FA cup games (depending upon draw) and maybe the odd home game against lower prem teams.......not many would choose them......

The defensive portion (inc goalkeeper) seems fine.....attacking mid seems very light

We need to have a bit of luck with injuries (Ie not getting them)

Last year Phillips, Gomez and Palmer were back up for regulars and now we've added Nunes how is that weaker ?

Why are people flapping about another striker when we have Alvarez who continues to score and some of you people have even got him benched.
Don`t need anyone else but someone needs to step up to us losing KDB and hopefully Phil can continue flourishing in that middle.

Thing is it is not sure if Gundog would have kept his level this season given his age. So it is hard to say exactly what we have lost.

At this moment happy enough, but time will tell. All new signings are a risk, ask again at the end of the season (or end of next season)

Strong 8 for me. Only way I'd give a 10 is if we got the signature of Bellingham. The best avaiable talent belongs at the best club but he chose the second best. Whatever. Just can't give a 10 without him. Thought he'd pick us.

9 was attainable if we snagged the signature of Rice or Wirtz and/or kept Palmer, along with bringing in the players we did.

So yeah, strong 8. We did very well considering not getting many of our main targets. I think the squad is just as good as last season, which obviously is quite good.

Decent 7. We missed out on the top two midfielders we were clearly after, but we got the centre half we wanted.

Kovacic brings experience and quality, haven't seen enough of Nunes and don't recall ever seeing Doku, so will have to wait on them, but trust the club. Outgoings look decent value
