Assou-Ekotto avoids FA action

It was his standing leg as well, I wonder what the FA would do if it had broken?

Lol, if the leg was broken / the team he played for was top 6 it would 100% be a ban.
I would just like consistency..

That looks fucking shocking, however I've not seen it in real time so will hold back opinion until then. I'm sure the Kompany tackle could be made to look horrendous if you just showed a pic of it.

Believe me I wouldn't have took a snapshot it wasn't deemed worthy or trivial.
I nearly sent it to the FA and asked for an explanation but they would have been more concerned about where I got the picture.

SSN saying that the FA don't do retrospective action on 'on the ball' incidents.

These fuckers just make it up as they go along.

If the referee saw that and took no action then it beggars belief. Anybody can see, probably even at speed, that it isn't just reckless but dangerous as well. If they said 'Did you see it?' and he says yes then they should also ask 'Now you've seen it again, what would you do?'

Tackles like that aren't just about saving face or staying within their regulations, it's about stopping players from seriously hurting others.

Absolute sham of an association who seem to pander more and more the Sky control.

Could this be anymore bent,it's disgraceful what's going on at the minute.
I can think of 3 incidents without really trying since kompanys red that are much worse, yet the FA have done fuck all about them.

the fa are spineless fckrs they wouldnt charge the spuds player incase arry goes mentle coz they want this bent twat to manage england saying that the fa and arry are suited for one another coz their both as bent as a 10 bob note complete joke but if it was balo he would of been banned for rest of season

Di Santo was too quick for Ekotto, he pushed the ball out with the outside of his foot and Ekotto was late. Ekotto isn't a malicious player, never has been.

Most Spurs fans said it was an awful challenge and it was, but not deliberate.

This has nothing to do with Spurs and the above post is a load of bollocks really. We've had terrible refereeing decisions this season, Kaboul was sent off for no reason and that wasn't rescinded either, not to mention previous games where refs have been shocking. People have short memories really

Wonderful sentiment and I'm sure he is a lovely lad but.................. it was a red card 100%

The danger in the tackle is clear to see whether or not he meant to hurt him. If you tackle like this you might break someones leg.
