Aston Villa (A) | PL | Post-Match Thread

Been waiting for one of these stupid posts. Knew it would come when we don't win and he doesn't score a hat trick.

Watch the game. He links up play, creates space & chances for others and we don't press like Liverpool do and he isn't expected to. He does exactly what is asked from him and does it well.

Watch the game properly & not expect Haaland to do absolutely everything.
Not a stupid post his work rate is shit, his goal scoring is good

You can’t talk about it being this game as he did nothing wrong.

When was the last time Ederson was at fault for a goal?

I have no idea when it was, but he committed no errors leading to goals in the whole of last season, so you’re better off starting from the season before last.
If you look at my reply I say it's a run of form from last season. It seems to me and a lot of blues that every time the opposition shoot it seems to end up in the net. To me he seems to get bored. You don't have to agree with me. I have defended him in the past, that he is perfect keeper for our system, he is the best I've seen with his feet, but for me he just isn't saving enough shots.

Could you tell one single player that created more than him? He created:
- Gundo's cross in the FH
-Running from MF and his shoot was barely out FH.
- Goal was his 90%.
- Pass to Haaland that the GK blocked.
- FK to the crossbar.
-1&2 with Haalabd that barely went out.
- I could say 3 other chances were he gave the pass before the assist/or his runs broke the defence.

Now tell me one player that directly created more please...
Kev was not at his best but he certainly wasn’t the issue today.

Not on his current form.
He’s started the season badly and today was the worst of the lot.
In Ashley young’s pocket the whole game and couldn’t pass 3 yards
He should have been rubbing his hands together with glee at the thought of coming up against Young but he didn't beat him once. His first touch has certainly deserted him of late.

It's very early in the season and there's a lot to be positive about for Manchester City. Having the best two players in the league for starters in De Bruyne & Haaland. Having Pep as manager isn't bad either. City are a joy to watch for fans and neutrals alike. This is sure to be an unpredictable season but City 'will' win this league again.
