Walkers ridiculous decision not to square to haaland was annoying. Stones decided to head the ball away to villa players when he had an easy headed back pass to ederson that lead to villas goal. Strange decisions all round tonight.

It sure I agree fully, but I can see that perspective as valid.

Still think bringing on Mahrez for Bernie instead of Alvarez for Foden was a very poor decision.

He could have made both subs though right? Didn't have to be 1 or the other.

In hindsight, yes Mahrez did badly in his few minutes, but I can see Pep's mind thinking "Let's get an attacking sub on to freshen up the attack, the experienced Mahrez it is".

But also, we desparately needed Alvarez as well for the center, and could have shifted Cancelo LWB or take Cancelo off and have Phil LWB spraying crosses in or something.

Oh well.

When was the last time Ederson was at fault for a goal?

I have no idea when it was, but he committed no errors leading to goals in the whole of last season, so you’re better off starting from the season before last.

I would say Eddy was at fault for Palace's first goal last week. Poor handling lead to the free kick we conceded.

A ponderous performance today with effective tactics by Villa stopping speed of play out from the back by cutting out the passing lanes. If we take our chances early in the game, it's done, but we didn't and we were average, especially out wide with a distinct reluctance to take on the full-back.

Fortunately, we only have two days before this performance can be out of our system.

My first post on here

Strange the people having a go at other posters for giving their opinion and having a moan on a football forum.

Giving the manager and/or players criticism doesn't mean we're not grateful for the incredible team we have. It means we think they can do better and want to discuss how the draw might have been a win in other circumstances.

Pep not giving Alvarez a run out is absolutely something we can point out and question. He scored 2 in his last game, has tonnes of energy and could have impacted the game.

Having said all that, Pep will get it right more often than not and I think we win the league by at least 15 points ;)
