I don’t think Pep is sacrificing the league for the CL as someone suggested. I think he just looks at the overall situation with the squad and has a whole season picture in his head. We just look at the game we are watching, but I think he looks at the the season and calculates how he will win the lot. That’s his use of the squad.
He hasn’t done it yet (won the lot) but he’s not been too far off.

Bernie and KDB had the RW locked off in the 2nd half. We were in complete control and Villa were never getting back in it. I don’t think Mahrez should be getting on the pitch.
