Aston Villa (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

They've not downed tools. They are fucked, some players have lost all ability and rational in decision making, haaland is a passenger and Kyle walker has been responsible for 75% of our losses from individual errors and shit defending. The system doesn't work unless every piece is working, just like peps first season.

Mentally exhausted imo.

But our experts on BM obviously know so many more factors ( not you btw BA )

The Boys in Blue did give in. I can say no more about that, sorry.
However the fans in Blue did not give in they supported until the bitter end. Thank you fans, thank you.

I shall now retire and just ponder on what has happened.
I will not though condemn the team or Pep. To me they have still got a lot left in the bank from the past few years.
They are City as I am City.
We’ll be back soon. :-)

John Boy I am sorry you are injured again. I’m still on your side though. :-)

kinda symbolic & deserved that an ex- academy player embarrassed us....90% of BM users, City fans in general & the important people at city saw it only as a tool to make money....the new shinning toy in the next transfer period was always more important...kinda funny that now fans want to give the youth a chance when it`s too late...besides Bobb our "diamonds/best" are gone & other clubs in the uk have closed the gap
The ones who thought we should sell the academy players were the ones who did not watch the players in the academy and couldn’t foresee that they may come good. You could probably include the first team coaches in that.

Wilcox did a fantastic job as football director of the academy now he is at United.

Some decisions are being made at club level that are very baffling.

Harrwood belis is better than akanji. Has a better fitness record than stones.
Doyle is better than gundo.
Lavia would easily get in out midfield.
Delap would be an excellent alternative to a sulky haaland

Etc etc etc
Also Porro we showed no interest in keeping just seemed to be an investment

Haaland is a superb goal scorer when the side is purring but he’s a very limited footballer. He’s also lazy and soft as shit for a big lad.

Imagine Tevez in that game today. He’d have been everywhere and run his bollocks off making a proper nuisance of himself. Haaland is far too easy to play against.

Perfectly summed up.

Boring, insipid, shit football we're churning out now and there looks to be no end in sight. You just don't see where the goals are coming from, Foden's today was lucky as it bounced up off a defender. We're a real fucking mess and Pep seems absolutely clueless how to turn it around. I think he'll walk soon if these players fail to show any more effort as it was woefully lacking today. Are they really playing for Pep anymore?
I think half of them know their time us and aren’t arsed by the look of it, Pep has to adapt now or never, if he walks leaving us in this mess people will question whether he is a cheque book manager or can actually coach, I know he reinvented football but he had to have the right players (by buying them) now is when a coach really earns his cash, seeing our frailties addressing them by changing to use what we have, he is not doing this, has he lost the dressing room because of this, possibly, everyone keeps saying wait until January, what if we don’t buy anyone, where the fuck are the goals and leadership coming from?
