To be brutally frank, I think he's been treated like shit by Pep this season.

Perhaps because he is.

We'll still get £50m for him because football is mad.

Pep sees him everyday in training. Given our injuries and suspensions if he still can't get in the side he must be dreadful in training.

Me neither unless he’s just sort of playing 3 at back, but it’s seemingly the square peg round hole scenario again, he’s good at it, clever when it works, shite when it doesn’t

The bench is basically Ake for a half at the most, probably to replace Stones at some point which will allow Akanji to step forward, and Kovacic for the last 15 once Lewis has run himself into the ground. Don’t envisage the others being fit enough or trusted enough to play. Club would recoup some money if it freed up the seats Carson, Phillips, and Gomez have and auctioned them off on here.

I hope I'm it's Stones with Lewis or Bernardo sitting in the middle. Not s fan of Stones playing the Rodri role and Akanji playing the Stones Role. That would be too clunky and backwards going in the middle. Especially when you have Kyle on the right.

We need guys who are good on the ball in the middle. Silva and Lewis I hope.
