Aston Villa (H) Post Match Thread

From a more negative perspective I had a look at the matchday thread last night, a few posts below which were all from the same poster -

Utterly pathetic performance

Ederson the worlds first goalkeeper statue

Absolute bottlers

Fuck off bottlers

This is utter drivel

Foden has done nowt for weeks

Fuck of Cancelo

Mahrez has been rubbish for weeks

Ffs gab that’s why you’re not in Peps plans

Fern has gone off thank goodness

Cancelo and Mahrez have been gash for weeks

Get that useless twat Cancelo off

Cancelo fucking useless defender

And most ironically of all “The crowd is up for this one” - well you obviously weren’t you meany mouthed moron. Imagine having this pathetic “fan” sat next to you at the game, imagine having lots of them in the ground? Whatever this team are, and however a disjointed first 75 mins we had on Sunday, this team of ours are not bottlers, they give it everything every game, and the players mentioned are most certainly not as described by this toxic tosspot.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing Why don't you just carry on celebrating Columbo?
People handle stressful moments differently. Why get so bothered about it,?
At the time of writing, he probably had a point with 2 or 3 of those comments.
Anyway all came good in the end.

Nope he is an utter bell end. Whatever he is, he isn’t a City fan. And it’s not fucking hindsight. Which points were correct - the slagging off 6 of our starting 11, or the fact that our team are bottlers? Utterly fucking pathetic. Sooner Columbo than Statler and fucking Waldorf

Sunday was my wife's 65th birthday, so I bought tickets early on for the match and we planned her birthday trip from the US around the match. It was her first visit to the Etihad and certainly one we will never forget! We talked all season about the possibility that the title could come down to this match, and what a wild ride Sunday was. We're still in disbelief at times that it really turned out that way. City Till We Die!

Spot on. This title came down to bottle - we have more of it than any other team.

100% pal

Many will be with us,to have those insufferable cunts win the 4 trophies would have been awful.

We genuinely saved football.
I was in Ipswich and watched the match on my own in a pub, but there were a couple of city and several Liverpool watching their game on another telly. Numerous guys came to me - seeing the city shirt - and wished me all the best - United, Chelsea, Spurs and Ipswich fans - all desperate for City to win, saying how unbearable it would be if the scousers won it.
A very happy quad denying day was had by all - except the scouse worshippers (Not actual scousers, I suspect) - who the landlord had wisely given their room to wallow in. The bigger part of the pub was for everyone else; which meant City!
Wasn't it a nice way to spend a Sunday?!

Why would a couple of city fans watch the Liverpool game and not the city game?
