So close for Jake Wightman, what a great run from him. Kerr must be injured as it didn't look like he got caught by anyone, gutted for them both.
Apparently, Kerr couldn't climb the steps to the interview post-race.

Jackson made a good point about that lane draw. Not sure if it was random, but it was certainly very handy for her that Paulino ended up in lane 9.

Yeah it might get overshadowed by SML's win but 47.98 from lane 9 with nothing to judge yourself off is hugely impressive. Still a great run from SML but Paulino was a good gage for her.

Neither deserved to lose that.

Is it always usually just two track finals a night? Feels like every night is just a tonne of heats and then 2 finals at the end.

Probably because I'm always watching and concentrating on the performance of British athletes do we seem to have quite a few who gas out in the last 200-150 metres? Good watching today esp the Woman's Triple Jump and 400

Anyone see the incident with Rai Benjamin? Hes knocked down his last hurdle, which in turn has knocked the hurdle in the adjacent lane out of position, and he's been DQ'd.

Seems very harsh

Benjamin has been given gold back but expect a Nigeria appeal.

Very unfortunate but the Nigerian definitely changed his approach and he only lost bronze by 0.1

It would be very harsh but if its in the rule book I'm not sure how he avoids a DQ.

Result stands, he gets the gold. Infairness to the lad whose hurdle got moved, he was in a charge but doubt he would have got bronze regardless
Thank fuck for that. That would of been absolute robbery if they'd taken that gold from him. As for the Nigerian, i agree, doubt he'd got any closer.

Apparently Nigeria are appealing it.

I think 5 hundreths was the difference for bronze.
