Going on past Champions league failures it won’t matter who pep plays or how we set up.

Knockout games comes down to the players. We need to see more than Kev raising his game otherwise it will be the same story. Pep can only get the team so far. Individually they need to step up and deliver.

Fair play....you have managed to erase Peps ridiculous team selection and tactics,in last seasons final, from your memory.
Maybe one or two could have done better individually, but the blame for that needless defat fell predominantly at the managers feet.

Speaking to a rag last night, he said whatever you expect regarding the shithousing times it by a hundred.

We need a team of officials who aren't bent/easy to mug off against these cheating fuckers.

I saw signs that they're still the same in patches against the rags but with them being so shite they had no need to go full on snide.

Unfortunately that memory will not be erased easily. Pep can only take the players so far with his approach. For us to win the 1 on off high profile games, the players need to step up.

The dream scenario is we beat them by three or four goals so we can rest players for the second leg and put absolutely everything in to the two games against Liverpool.

Realistically, it's going to be very tight and I'd be very happy if we take a narrow lead to Madrid.

Looking at the way simeone has set up against various teams it’s going to be difficult to predict his formation. Played 442
against alaves, 3142 against barca, 352 against the rags, 3421 against Liverpool etc. The only consistent thing is their tactic to cède possession, kill the ball and their pass completion rate of 72%.
