Small things do make a difference more than we think like banners, Loads of scarfs, Flags could bring a new feeling to the place hopefully at the new stand we are able to hang banners off the tiers them Electronic ones look awful also create a section where we have flags up most of the match warn people before that this will happen so they can decide to sit here or not so we don’t get “put the flag down I can’t see”

Stood there (SSL1) for years when it was the key 103 stand....hassled by showsec every game and even I got arrested for persistent standing ffs
I spent a decade there. Stewards did my head in, had to sing "stand up if you love city" about 20 times a game" to get them to go back to the front and start all over again with asking fans to sit down.

fuck off showsec fuck off showsec....even chanted that in AA lower in the seated Kippax

Please don’t encourage flags, they block your view of the game. Some seem to wave them the whole game and don’t seem to notice what is happening on the pitch. Same applies to outdoor music festivals
I love the flags that 1894 do and they look great when there are quite a few in the SS. They always take them away before the kick off so never get in anyones way either. Other than those there aren't really any other flags at City but i for one would love to see more.

no flags or ballooning about = That's what the "quiet " areas are for ....."the Seats" back in the day.

If it's organised in an area of the new North stand, and it's well documented that's what happens in that area of the stand, do you think it's a distinct possibility that fans who don't want their view blocked could choose seats away from there?

That's far too reasonable! We need outrage for the sake of outrage.

Exactly. 1894 have trialled a drum and a megaphone. The drum in particular was divisive amongst fans, with one fan who was on the drum for the first half of the Gladbach game in 2016 copping shit loads of abuse on the concourse at half-time. As for the megaphone, it took years of dialogue with the club to even get to the point that one was allowed to be used.

Funnily enough, the drum did help to contribute to the atmosphere a fair bit that night but the amount of negative comments meant that it was never going to become a regular thing. For the record, I'm not massively in favour of a drum myself but the point was politely made at the time that if more fans could actually be arsed singing then we'd never have needed to trial a drum in the first place.
As you'll know, I don't like drums at football games. But I do think we now have better-suited songs compared to 2016.

If someone was drumming along to Champions Again, Follow You Everywhere, and Best Defence in Europe, it would hold the beat better than clapping and enable more fans around the stadium to participate (in time).

My plea to anyone who is too shy to sing... Be noisy in other ways (clap, shout, whistle, boo). Noise creates more noise!

These are the type of flags we need to see more of. The south stand used to look great with these. We could probably do it for ss3 currently. The digital versions look rubbish

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has told any supporter "not in the right shape" for Saturday's top-of-the-table Premier League encounter with leaders Arsenal to give their ticket to someone else.

Klopp - whose side are a point behind the Gunners - criticised the Anfield atmosphere during Wednesday's 5-1 Carabao Cup quarter-final win over West Ham.
The Reds galloped to their joint-biggest win of the season to book a two-legged last-four encounter with Fulham.

Yet, despite goals for his side from Dominik Szoboszlai, Cody Gakpo, Mohamed Salah and Curtis Jones, who scored twice, Klopp felt the atmosphere inside the stadium was flat.

That was even though it was just the second time there were 57,000 present after the opening of the upper tier of the Anfield Road Stand.

Fuck me, Peps never gone that far. The cult will not be happy.

Cry me a fucking river you scouse cunts.

Not only has Pep never gone that far, he’s never done anything that any normal thinking person would disagree agree with.
This forum just has too many touchy fuckers who love to be pissed off over anything and everything.

Liverpool fans must still be a bit confused about the League Cup, it was a meaningless competition when we were winning it four years in a row but suddenly a glorious trophy when they won it on penalties. Perhaps they were quietly trying to figure it all out last night

The media has a lot to blame, yes it's amazing amazing league and very competitive but other small leagues all over the world have shown how to have an atmosphere.

Because the league has gone global, the league is now full of tourists and with clubs chasing the money they lost the soul of football the atmosphere
