When your ground is half full of tourists that’s what you get, it won’t improve we’re the best club in the world and people from all over the planet want to come and take selfies and buy half and half scarfs to show their families/ mates back home. it is what it is your dippers, and rags games will be ok the rest of the time it’s like your at a church burying a loved one

Yes I'm still pinching myself we won 5-1, tough on Fulham but to be fair we did improve a lot in the second half. That goal just before half time sickened them. I've watched it back on TV tonight and yes it probably was a bit harsh, but we had the same thing happen to us at Sheffield, probably worst as their player was right on top of Ederson. Shit happens. We would still have beaten them anyway.

Did you miss Kyle Walker being a dick and playing every **** onside with his stupidity?

I think everyone is waiting for Red Star Belgrade at home, that will be tasty and at least they'll create a great atmosphere

We moan about the press/media etc yet we have this thread that knocks the match going fans !

To me our atmosphere/noise levels are very similar to all other premier league clubs.

It's like some have bought into the myth sound rounding other clubs atmospheres. Dippers and rags can sound like a library and have empty seats, the press/media wont mention it. Than we start a thread knocking our own fans and play into the press/media hands lol.

When you are in the singing end you cant hear the rest of the stadium as you just hear what's around you.

Anyway we enjoyed 314 area, I will admit the game didnt help and I never heard or saw a fulham fan all day. Which didnt help the game.

The black guy singing in the technical area before the game was miming blue moon. Weird choice of act to have on.
The whole band were miming. The song they were pretending to play was just a recording of ‘Magalenha’ over the stadium speakers with them tapping their instruments, many of which in the song weren’t even there in the band.

(Mint song though!)

It was for part of the celebration day for Bahia joining CFG. The black guy is Carlinhos Brown. There were a few other events going on around the campus for what they called O dia da Bahia. Elano was also a part of it.
Saw loads of these shirts yesterday

Their badge (apart from the stars) is nice.

Yeah, it was advertised mate. I tried to push it as much as I could by word of mouth, but some people have their own plans with family etc.

Hopefully the lads keep pushing for this and conversing with the club. If they gave the group the chance in a bigger game, with a few weeks notice, I think we could get a good group up there and create a racket.
1894 did well in managing to get around five rows of people to move for one game with two weeks notice just off social media.

Imagine, working together, what both the club and 1894 could achieve with a full 12-month drive to advertise the new North Stand, given a proper name and therefore identity, as an atmosphere stand!

We are at the pinnacle of football which is fucking ace but atmosphere wise we are bobbins. No one forces anyone to attend games or sing or stay silent.

It is what it is .
To be fair jeopardy and tension fuels atmosphere. We’re at a point with very little jeopardy or tension. Atmosphere picked up last season because the 115 lies, performances dropping off after Christmas, and then we had to roar our way to the Treble. Now we’re basking in the afterglow. It’s early in the season, we haven’t really faced top tier opposition yet apart from Newcastle, and it’s comfortable at the top - so comfortable the way some of us are talking about yesterday you wouldn’t think we won 5-1…so it was never going to be a cauldron throughout.Atmosphere outside SS3 - who I could hear from NS2 throughout - was definitely relaxed, sunny and social rather than rocking, but I’ve no doubt the fire will come back when needed. I’ve done my share of moaning about folk who sit in silence for 90mins, but I’m happy to take yesterday for what it was. A good team performance, a nice showcase for the newer, younger and lesser seen lads. We are never going to be like Germans where there is no connection between circumstances and noise, all going well the atmos will build as the season unfolds, as it did well last season.
