It was like that away at Burnley first game - the same people constantly in and out of the seats, up and down to the concourse and back. It was getting on my nerves! They weren’t watching any of the game, strange behaviour.
I'm use to watching cricket, around 8-9 hours. I know I'm a bore but it's no problem for me.
Another issue is where I sit (E upper) there are coach parties of kids from Scotland that are constantly up and down throughout the game. I didn't enjoy yesterday at all.

When your ground is half full of tourists that’s what you get, it won’t improve we’re the best club in the world and people from all over the planet want to come and take selfies and buy half and half scarfs to show their families/ mates back home. it is what it is your dippers, and rags games will be ok the rest of the time it’s like your at a church burying a loved one

It’s not half full of tourists. That’s a bit of an exaggeration. You can look at pictures of the south stand for example and I wouldnt describe it as tourist central

The Newcastle game was great for noise so we can do it

There was a tourist next to me in the south stand that was making more noise than most the locals

what makes a tourist ?

I guess we might be classed as that by some. All 3 of us in our 60's southern accents ( me born in didsbury ) but been City all our lives. Now our kids are all City with southern accents.
We have been all over the country watching gods own, from the 3rd division to the very top.
It's great now to see little kids who live around us in their fill City kits. This was unheard off just 3 or 4 years ago.

PS well also stay till the end lol

Did you miss Kyle Walker being a dick and playing every **** onside with his stupidity?

I still don't understand that rule, it's even more ridiculous than the present offside rule. The field of play is over the white line. If the ball crosses it then it's out of play. How the fuck then can a player that's off the field of play behind the white line be playing somebody onside? How?? It makes zero sense.

It might be quicker for you to list what you do enjoy.

There are those whose glass is half empty and others who have smashed the glass and lamenting that they’ve spilt more drink on the floor than they have.

It’s time for you to buy a new glass.

Does this mean if a substituted player walking to the dugout behind his goal, that tactically he is in the field off play after being subbed lol

Sorry mainly bobbins

We are primarily there to watch the match. During it we shout and on occasion chant and sing which is our reaction to what's happening on the field of play. We're not auditioning for football's version of the X factor, we pay to watch what's happening on the field. I do however love to get involved with all the chanting and singing, which is why I'm in safe standing. Yesterday was quite flat all around, on and off the field. That sounds odd considering it was a 5-1 scoreline but that didn't really reflect our performance. In fact the chant used the most yesterday was, "Come on City, come on City!" In an effort to get us going and took me back to our dark times at Maine Road when it was sang a lot.
