You’re advocating that we respect the early leavers, but you’re affording those who stay until the end absolutely no respect. Odd.
No.

I’m gently ribbing those who big themselves up as superfans on the internet for meeting wholly arbitrary self applied criteria.

The people who go on about empty seats at City strangely silent about half the Wembley crowd f*****g off early at the England v Italy international.

probably the most dull atmosphere this season in the prem.

what was going on, 37 mins and a mass of fans going to the bar, by 40 mins in lower SS it looked like 30% had gone. The team was going for a third goal, doku was on fire, but fans turn their back and go for a pint.
I nearly took a picture to post on here of SSL1 before half time but it would be one that would be counterproductive because it would be used by rivals fans about ‘Emptyhad’, despite it actually being full before that point. Plus I don’t like getting my phone out during the game.

It looked between ⅓ and ½ empty. It was ridiculous, it was the emptiest part of the ground when it’s supposed to be our most vociferous area.

Must do your head in with everyone around you just streaming out like that while the game is going on. Like you say, while we were pushing for the third goal! The first half just petered out into a nothing affair as it was so silent in the stands with so many having done one to go for a pint. You could argue it even set the tone for the second half performance.

Is this a joke!?

imagine united fans bringing a banner for Bell at the etihad
We haven’t seen videos of Utd fans mocking a dead city person.

It’s to show respect to a great player utd & England & to show the world we are not like the idiots singing about him.

It’s to show respect to pep & our owner who have been embarrassed the most from this. Pep will be furious

It’s to take the sting out of Utds pre match talk who will use this to motivate them in a derby.

It takes the sting out of shit press who love to put us down world wide.

So as you see it’s not just a banner.

I see no issues with Charlton in an England shirt on a banner. I find it being respectful & very classy
