Atmosphere - 2023/24

To be far this season the atmosphere for home games has been poor. There has been mitigation the 12.30 pm kick off vs Liverpool killed the atmosphere. That kick off time should be banned from broadcasters. Why cant they do a 2 pm KO. I realise it overlaps 3 pm but would be so much better for atmosphere.
I think the voice announcements after a goal has been scored don't help either. It makes it too American. We need to get back to old fashioned drunk people splattered around the ground getting the crowd going. We should do more happy hour events before kick off. That would help.
 
The issue is he’s making out our atmosphere is worse than everyone else’s, when it’s clearly not.

Nothing to do with being a “manufactured club” either, some of our supporters are lazy and the club don’t help with giving priority to new fans and corporate.

I heard him spouting utter shite yesterday. Ok, we have a few entitled fans, i would say it's mostly our younger and newer fans who don't know our former hardships. Jordan didn't mention Liverpool and their entitled fans nor did he mention how the Moore's family bankrolled them in the 60s when they were 2nd division nobody's.

Should we get relegated then the silly welding goggles gurning **** will see how loyal our core support is!

really felt sorry for the guy when it was announced he was battling an illness.

But he can get to f*** now, never seen someone change his tune so much.

Pandering to the red shirts, bottled it to Eddie Hearn & TF over in the boxing world

I’m not sure I agree with that. There’s loads of entitled older fans as well. I sit near them. If we aren’t 3-0 up by half time they never stop whinging.

Clearly has a vendetta against the club, stopped taking any notice of him to be honest

I sat in the Main Stand at Maine Road for a couple of seasons and isn’t self entitlement it’s just a negative mind set. Win, lose or draw. It never stopped. One bloke used to bring the Daily Telegraph and read it whilst the game was being played. 100% true.

Happy times. I had more good laughs over a couple of decades in the Main Stand than I ever had at the Etihad.
The Main Stand was full of great characters. There was an old boy sat near me who told his mates that he had been given a few weeks to live. One of them turned round and said "about time you fucked off you moaning old c*nt"... Proper characters.

It's just populist rage baiting.

He knows it's generating traffic to be so insistent on bashing City because that's what the majority want to hear.

Manufactured outrage is basically what sports journalism has become.
