Atmosphere - 2023/24

It hasn't exactly harmed us kicking towards the North Stand in the second half! Yesterday I thought we lost the toss and ten bob had reckoned pre-match that switching ends might disrupt us, that's about his level of management.
I was trying to remember the last time we scored in the first half kicking towards the North Stand. Villa, Everton, yesterday all ended fine eventually but didn’t start so well

Didn't have time to go around to the North Stand.

Bet you had a semi on with the crane in view; )

Thought the atmosphere was OK yesterday. The rags made a bit of noise for about 20 minutes after they scored but went quiet once we started creating chances. Similarly we were shocked by their goal but gradually developed a sense of belief and cranked up the volume.
More and more chants are starting in the north stand which has to be a good indicator for when the stand is expanded.

I’m in 115 and for years myself and mates have questioned why we seem to prefer attacking towards the family stand in the second half and not the much larger and more vocal South Stand. Everton the other week and today both produced the right results attacking the South Stand in the second half. Perhaps we should do it more often. Now there’s a thought….

Always been an odd one, but I suppose it's because the South Stand also has away fans in it?! I was fine with it after the Aguerooooo goal, but then we came back and beat Villa attacking the South Stand so either is fine for me! Did the Rags switch ends to try and get an advantage? Not sure it worked...

I hope when the North stand is expanded the South stand stays vocal so we have 2 singing ends?

Shows you how bad they are when that was their main tactic.
Thought the atmosphere was great yesterday.
The derby game brings out the singers while queueing up in M1 as well.

When we get going it’s all round the ground - not just one stand like other clubs.

It was brilliant last night - bearing in mind its always a nervous match (don’t know why) :) :). :)
I thought the same. Singing in the third tier of the Colin Bell was really loud. Proper atmosphere reacting to the game not like that artificial shit in Germany.

I'm in SS1 and I thought the family stand was brilliant today. Noticed a lot of the back of the stand stud up throughout the game. What a difference it makes to the atmosphere.
As I mentioned in another thread a steward tried to kick me and my son out for standing a few times. We only did it because those in front of us were. No idea why we were singled out.
