Replied mate.Dodge.
PM sent.
City only apologise when our fans are attacked by Liverpool fans. Thanks for the replies.
Seen him yesterday at Villa. He's a long time member of Baguley & Brooklands branch and the branch have raised a formal complaint, which should add weight to his case.
So far, complete silence from the club, except a cursory email to advise him that his ban is now lifted.
No apology.
It'll be interesting on Boxing Day when he crosses paths with the stewards in his block.
So, my mate, the Wythenshawe ONE as we now call him, has today been acquitted and charges dropped by GMP. After waiting for 4 days for City to send the CCTV, the video clearly shows it as mistaken identity, the guy behind the Wythenshawe ONE, was the culprit.
So, the stewards pointed out the wrong supporter, in the wrong seat, on the wrong row. Now, after being arrested, frogmarched out of the ground in cuffs, only seeing half the game (lucky bastard), spending the night in Newton Heath nick, an immediate 3 year ban notice issued by GMP to City who subsequently suspended his SC and cancelled his ticket for Villa.
He is rightly pissed off and doesn't want to let this go. Some faceless steward has fucked up, a CCTV operator has fucked up. Someone has to be held accountable for the shitshow he endured. The presumption of guilt is astounding. You're banned, no questions. No process, just an email telling a 15 year SC holder he's not welcome. With the stark message from the Club stating if the Police ban is longer than a season, you're SC is rescinded and gone forever.
Simple question:
Does anyone on here know the protocol for taking this further?
Ta.
If one of the stewards confronts him, a polite explanation of the situation would be fine. I'd imagine the steward in question would feel a sense of embarrassment more than anythingThanks for the replies.
