Atmosphere 2024/25

No it wasn’t, many have become entitled
Think it’s a bit both tbh we have been in worse position than we our now but also situation is much different now the players are paid millions of pounds a year and fans have to pay over the roof for a ticket think fans have a right to vent the anger if they think players aren’t giving 100%

Watched the match on TV.

And before anyone starts, I can’t leave my Sister at home on her own for legal reasons.

The atmosphere was very flat. Some chants at the start of the match, and after the goal, and nothing in-between. The 2nd half was really poor. Pep trying to get the crowd going. Savinho as well on the pitch. Constant references to the poor and quiet atmosphere from the TV pundits.

Watched on TV too. And you arent wrong. This isn't new either. As someone who goes to games against the mid to lower table teams for the most part (I live in Stoke so I only go about 5 or 6 games a year) there is never a time where the fans are creating this perceived unbelievably intense home crowd atmosphere.

A lot of the time people are just waiting for the 3rd goal. People turn up late, they go to the concessions early before half time and leave 10 mins early. And that's not just the tourists either.

I'm not saying what people are and aren't allowed to do, but the flat atmosphere outside of the biggest games isn't new.

Going to the United game last year was a breath of fresh air for me as the place was rocking.

Also, the pundits can fuck off.

Apparently the commentary team on Amazon was having a constant dig at empty seats if they did some research they would understand that some fans can’t afford ticket prices when they are £70 to £80 pounds near Christmas time

Seriously. Its fucking Everton. A lot of people don't want to pay premium money for that the day after Christmas.

Fuck off you twat. I pay my money so I will do what I want. sick of people like you telling other blues what they should do. The football is fucking dire
“Fuck off you twat” - Jesus that escalated quickly !

Tbf I agree with your general point though, I think a bit of general booing at the end of a game to register displeasure goes with the territory if you’re an underperforming pro sportsman and it’s absolutely your right as a match going blue to do so
