Good effort from the South Stand. The FC Twente groups were comical. All good fun.

They was a joy to watch last night for sure is there a connection to City ?

No but we played them in Europe in 1978
I went to the away fixture 1-1 think Dave Watson scored for us

Heard a few sets of fans say the Etihad is the worst ground in the country for getting pelted with coins by City fans from either side.

There was a story in Brum’s local paper of Villa fans there on the final day in 2022–23 saying it was frightening being at the Etihad that day.

Good ....we need to make it even more hostile & intense by putting away fans down at the front of ES1 & round the corner flag in SS1 (the worst position in the stadium for acoustics & views) and making SS2/3 all City fans.

Creating two CITY ends by shifting away fans has got the potential to make our stadium more of a bear pit and now is the time to start discussions with the authorities to make it coincide with the opening of the NS2.

It's certainly not fucking good fans are having coins thrown at them if true , we aren't the dippers.

FC Twente are my Dutch team. I began supporting FC Twente because I liked their club name. I saw them play Ajax in Amsterdam. I plan to go and watch one of their home matches in the future.

Good for you. Prepare for a culture shock, though. :)

As expected due to the nature of the game but besides SS, it was absolutely dead tonight.
Full of tourists and people taking selfies most the game

We were surrounded by some US Soccer organisation, about 30 at least in 101. They were okay and celebrated our goals and weren’t videoing every moment.

No but we played them in Europe in 1978

We won the home leg 3-2 (Bell, Kidd, og).
We also beat them 3-2 in the UEFA Cup in 2008 (SWP, Robinho, Benjani). Bluemoon's history section has them listed twice; once as FC Twente and also as Twente Enschede.

If the tourists hadn't been there it would haven't been much of a crowd. It's great to see so many people who don't normally get the chance to go.

It was ok in the North stand - perhaps as you’re obviously in the South stand you couldn’t hear it. East stand had a go too
